Jason tells Maxie that he hopes this new guy stays away from Sonny.
Cut to Jackal finishing his drinking, saying that hit the spot. He tells Sonny that Jackal PI compliments his taste in hooch. He wants a refill, Sonny knocks it out of his hand. He pulls out a gun and says no one touches the merchandise and tells him to keep his hands where he can see them. No funny business. Sonny wants to know what is wrong with him.
Jackal stands up and tells Sonny to cool his jets and back off. Sonny doesn't have time for this? (Seriously, what does that man have time for besides getting woman pregnant?) He orders Spinelli to get to his computer and find his money. Jackal says Jackal PI gets no kick out of technology. Its lazy. He says crime has to be solved by leg work, get out in the field. Sonny takes the gun out of his hands. Sonny says his tech skills are the only redeeming quality. He is ordering him around. He says he would have killed him by now if he didn't have that. He is telling him he hacks into things, moves money around, surveillance cameras. Jackal says sorry it doesn't compute. Sonny wants his money back. Jackal says the guy he wants doesn't exist anymore. He said when the computer geek took a real bullet he was finally set free, the real Jackal. He says he is at his service, as long as it doesn't involve computers.
(Ok I loved Maxie telling Jason that he really is warm and squishy)
Sonny wants to know what he means about getting shot freed the real Jackal. Jackal says for a big time crime boss, he is a little slow at the up take. Sonny says he is going to go against his nature and really try to understand what it is he is going through. Jackal says nothing is wrong, its finally right. He says he laughs in the face of death and something about day to day about sugar lips and yams? He does the guy thing of hitting Sonny's shoulder (like thata boy). Sonny tells him and wants it to sink in. He says his name is Damian and he works for his organization as a hacker, and this other idiot he is talking about is from a ridiculous book he wrote with Diane. Jackal says it wasn't written, it was lived by him. Sonny says it was was a fantasy. He is living a fantasy and this whole thing is a fantasy. Jackal says he is as real as that schnoz on his face. He says taking the bullet for the beautiful blonde one released him from the shackles and allowed him to take his rightful place on the mean streets. Sonny doesn't care who he is. Sonny says one of them is going to get his money back.
Sonny calls Jason about Spinelli basically said come get him or Max & Milo will make him disappear.
Jackal wants the 411 on the Corinthos/Z thing. Sonny says he is not discussing his business with the Jackal PI. He says if he wants to turn himself back to Spinelli, then maybe they can talk otherwise shut up. Jackal says just to be clear he is not taking sides in this upcoming war. He says he won't be looking the other way if bodies start to fall in his path. Sonny hates Jackal just as much as he hates Sonny. Tells him to shut up again. Jackal says quiet it is. Jason comes in. Sonny explains what happens. Jackal says he wishes he could help. Sonny wants him gone. Jason takes him. He does something that Spinelli would have done. He waved.
FYI Spinelli trended again...World Wide. That makes this what 5 times in what 2 weeks? Who-hoo. And they say no one is at home watching 'soaps' anymore. Whatever.
Maxie goes to Sonny wanting him to promise he won't harm Spinelli.
Jason returns Jackal back to penthouse. Sam comes down the stairs. Sam wants to know why he left hospital. Jason says Jackal PI left. Sam tells him he was shot and should be recovering. He appreciates her concern, but the hospital is no place for a man of action. He had to get back in the game. Jason says he went to see Sonny. Jackal says his charm was lost on the sinister. He made a deadly enemy. He says so be it, it comes with the territory. Jason wants him to stay away from Sonny. Jackal says he wasn't fond of the guy anyways. Jason wants him back on computer, he says sorry but thats a waste of Jackal PI time. He wants his gun back. Jason says no. Jackal says he will catch him on the rebound. Jackal leaves.

6/30/11 Spinelli recap
Writer: Tracey Thompson
Jackal has his feet up on desk reading the newspaper. He says hey there Morgan whats the word on the street (when Jason comes into office). Jason just wants to know what he is doing. He is looking for cases. Jason went to hospital, they said he checked out. he said he had to get back to the mean streets. Jason is worried about his recovery. He says crime waits for no man. He said he had unfinished buisness that he needed to tend to. Jason said he can let Sam handle it. He said its a job for Jackal PI. He says he is not putting it off just because he got slugged in the chest.
Jason wants to know what the job is. Jason wants to take him back to hospital. He said those baby blues got the best of him. Jason says are you talking about Maxie? He said she is with Dr. Hunter, the guy who saved his life. He said he doesn't have to sit around and watch him hit on his doll. Jason is all that is why you left the hospital because you got jealous? Jackal wants to know how he would feel if some creep was pawing at McCall? Jason reminds him he almost died, he got shot and he should be in the hospital. Jackal says if sugar pants wants to play nurse, all she has to do is find him.
Jason tells him he isn't being fair to Maxie making her worry like this. He says a little worry never hurts and if anything blondie will appreciate him more. Jackal wants to know how many guys he knows who have come that close to meeting their maker and gone back to work...Jason says none. Jackal says thats his point. He says dames cant resist (er ???) Jason says Maxie wont be too impressed if she finds him bleeding on the floor. Jason says catch and throws the Spinelli book at him. Jason says getting shot hurts, he knows. He needs to give himself time to heal. Jackal wants to know why he wants him out of the action. Jason says he is his friend, is he not allowed to be concerned. Jackal says he will walk away for a while. Jason wants to know what he is talking about. Jackal reads something in the paper about about the warehouse fires. Jason wants to see it. Jackal says he walks the line between Light and dark common criminal.
Maxie enters the PI office yelling Spinelli. Jackal says there is no need to shout he is right there. She says she can not believe he scared her like that. She said she would hit him so hard right now, if he didn't already have a hole in his chest. He gets up and says have at it. He says he likes a dame who can duke it out. She wants to know why he left hospital. He says sounds like sugar pants missed him. She doesnt want him calling her that (er can't say I disagree). She tells him her name is Maxie. She says she can not have him dropping dead. She says he has to take better care of himself. He says why don't you take care of me instead *getting closer* She tells him that is the most sane thing that has come out of his mouth. She walks away and says she is taking him back to hospital. He grabs her and pulls her into a dip kiss. She says no no no how dare you. He says whats the matter, you haven't been kissed by a man who meant it before? She says he shouldnt be kissing her like that since they are not nonspouses anymore. He comes closer.
She walks away, he follows. He says something about on his watch...(grr accents) She says no they can't. he says something else. She says he is not well. She says he needs to be at the hospital, or at least home in bed. He says there is plenty of room for two. He gets closer. She backs him off. She tells him to stop hitting on her. He says he is a red blooded man, and she is a red hot woman, why fight it? She says she needs him. He says you see that came across loud and clear. He comes closer, she backs up. She says not like that. She makes up some computer problem. He says Jackal PI is calm in a crisis. He says if she wants soft lips or to slug someone he can do that, but tinkering around on a typewriter is not his thing and it never will be.
Sonny calls Spinelli. He is ordered to get over there. Jackal says its the head honcho himself. He says its not every day he gets invited to a mob bosses mansion. He wants to know what its regarding. Sonny says he doesn't have time for jokes. Jackal says his services don't come cheap, they go by the hour plus travel expenses. Clean cabbage. Sonny says if he has to send someone over there, he will be sorry.
Jackal walks in. He says nice digs (though er um Spinelli has been there before). He says crime obviously pays. Sonny doesn't have time for him joking around. Sonny wants to know where his money is. Jackal takes his drink and sits down. Sonny says Jason may put up with the way he speaks, but its his house, he wants his money. Jackal says they will discuss his money after they discuss his. He says its gonna cost you. Sonny says no my friend, its going to cost you.

6/23/11 Spinelli recap

Maxie (in super cute black and white dress) is knocking on penthouse door. She is looking for Jason. She gets Sam. She explains to Sam what is going on.
Jason walks in holding his laptop. He is using a prezel as a toothpick and reading the newspaper. Jason says he is glad he is ok. Jackal says hiya Morgan. Jason says what? Jackal says its good to see him, but he isnt complaining about all the cute little chickedi's rolling in and out there. But he says a guy needs a little mano ah mano time. He wants him to bring him up to speed. Jason is just looking at him strangely.
Jason wants to know what he is doing. He thinks he is practicing being in character for his next book. He says he is the real deal. Jason says whatever this is, it needs to stop right now. He says they have problems and he needs him to focus. Jackal puts down the newspaper and says problems, the breakfast of champions. Jason says he got a call from Bernie. He asks if he knows who Bernie is. Jason says there is 20 million missing from the off shore accounts. Jackal says inside job? Jsson says that is what he is suppose to tell him. He said tracking money, handling transfers is what he does. Jackal says he must be pulling his leg, he is no keyboard jockey. Jason says are you telling me you don't know how? Jackal says he has no clue.
Jason puts the lap top in front of him and says to open it up and try. Jackal wants to know where the handle is (he can't open it) Jason says are you serious? Jason opens it up for him. Jackal says thats mildly interesting. Jason says Spinelli a lot of money is missing and he needs to find it for him. Jackal says how much smackers, gets cut off when Jason says smackers? Jason says 20 millon. He says if he doesnt help him his entire organization will be compromised. Jackal says he feels for him, Morgan. He wishes he could help him out, he feels for him. Jackal says he needs one of those tech guys. In walks Maxie & Sam. Jackal says doll face you came back. Maxie wants him to stop calling her doll face. He wants to know why McCall isn't at the office, wants to know if she has any cases that she needs Jackal on. Maxie wants to know why he hasn't fixed him yet. Jason pulls Sam out to hallway.
Spinelli is staring at Maxie. Sam is on the computer with him. She wants to know if the gps system to track cheaters looks familiar to him. Sam is trying to get him to focus. He says it looks like another language. He tells Maxie she looks like she is sporting ??? (again with the accent) she wants him to stop staring at her legs as its creeping her out. Sam brings up something up. Its the video game. Jackal thinks its clever. Maxie tells him he invented it. He says it does not seem possible. Maxie says the saga of stonecold. Says he made a lot of money. He asked her what she is doing Friday. Maxie says see what I mean? Sam says so none of this means anything to you? He says its computer talk, its news to him. He says Jackal PI does not sit hunched over a machine, he is a man of action. He says he looks death in the eye (he was doing this come hither look to Maxie)

Sam says you have been really considered with me taking chances lately. Aren't you concerned about me getting pregnant anymore? Jackal gives her a look.

6/22/11 Spinelli recap

Jackal tells Maxie she is a sight for sore eyes. Maxie says he was incredible, the way he dropped down and saved her from Lisa. She said taking a bullet that was meant for her was beyond heroic. Jackal says he just lucked in trouble. She doesn't know how she will ever show her gratitude. He wants more kisses, calls her sugar lips. Maxie says the joke is over, doesn't have to talk like that. He says he told her his name is Jackal PI.
Maxie tells Spinelli he is really cute when he does that voice. She just wants to know he is ok. She wants him to drop the act and talk to her. He says its no act sweet face, what you see is what you get. Jackal PI in the flesh. Maxie wants to know if he has amnesia. He explains what happened. He said he should have tackled that crazy dame. He said he got a slight to the chest instead, he apologized. She said he was wonderful. She doesn't know how she will ever thank him. He says its just part of the job, kitten. He remembers going down, Morgan (and whatever he called Dante) busting in. He says after that its a fog. Maxie tells him that Lisa Niles is in a coma. They don't expect her to make it. Jackal says well that's justice for you. He says although he owes her one, as after all she brought out the real him.
Maxie says this is strange. She thinks he had a stroke or a concussion. She wants to get a doctor. He says her baby blues are the only medicine he needs. Maxie is going to ask him a couple of questions. She asks him his full name. He says Damian Milhouse Spinelli (he says something but again with the accents, no clue what but I get he made fun of it) as Maxie says she happens to like it. She asks who he lives with. He says Morgan, Jason Morgan. Enforcer to the big enchilada Sonny Corinthos. Maxie says good so far. She wants to know when he first kissed her. He says she has it wrong doll face. She was on a case with him, text message killer. He says she spotted a car and to cover their tracks, she planted one right on Jackal PI. He says he felt a jolt, like he stuck his lips in an electric socket. Maxie says enough about the socket. She asks what happened on September 24, 2009. He says they didn't get married but had an after party. He says he likes the dame just as much as the next fella but no one holds a candle to her. He says she made him a one woman, man dollface. She asks why they broke up. He says she took a walk on the dark side with Franco. He says he would have hung in, but you (watched several times still not sure what he said) She sits back down. She wants him to name one thing that no one else would know about her. He says she is making this too easy, calls her kitten again. He says the cute little freckles on her caboose. he says once they looked like the consolation (?) Maxie says only he would describe them that way. He says its like real estate. Location. Location. Location. Maxie looks at him puzzled.
Maxie listens as Jackal says he droppd in landing on his feet. He says the broad had hostages. Matt is also listening. Matt says Lisa fired the gun? Maxie tells him what happened. Jackal says that it didn't sit too well with you, dollface, did it? Maxie says it really upset her that she was calling him pathetic when it was obvious that the only pathetic person in that room was her. Jackal says he sticks his neck out for no one, but for you I make an acception dollface. Maxie says you saved my life Spinelli. He says again that his name is Jackal PI, buttercup. Matt thanks him for saving Maxie. Spinelli says that he saved his baby he says so he guesses they are even. He said the real hero was enforcer Morgan. He said something about Dante and the crazy dame. Maxe excuses them for a minute. Her and Matt leave. Maxie is worried. Matt says the tests show nothing. Says he is healthy. Maxie says he woke up with this bizarre personality. Matt says since when has Spinelli ever been completley normal? Matt brings up when Spinelli was Austriallian or the night. Matt says he will be ok, and he has rounds. He will be back.
Maxie runs back in and asks how he is doing. He is hankering for some chow and a shot of whiskey. Maxie says if he had a shot of whiskey he would fall down drunk or be completly naucious. Diane comes in. She says thank goodness you are ok, I just heard the news. Spinelli says if it isn't his favorite red head. He asks how the book buisness is cookie. Diane wants to know if he just called her cookie.

He said something about Dante and the crazy dame. Maxe excuses them for a minute. Her and Matt leave. Maxie is worried. Matt says the tests show nothing. Says he is healthy. Maxie says he woke up with this bizarre personality. Matt says since when has Spinelli ever been completley normal? Matt brings up when Spinelli was Austriallian or the night. Matt says he will be ok, and he has rounds. He will be back.
Maxie runs back in and asks how he is doing. He is hankering for some chow and a shot of whiskey. Maxie says if he had a shot of whiskey he would fall down drunk or be completly naucious. Diane comes in. She says thank goodness you are ok, I just heard the news. Spinelli says if it isn't his favorite red head. He asks how the book buisness is cookie. Diane wants to know if he just called her cookie.

Spinelli recap 6/21/11

Maxie is holding Spinelli's hand when they want to come take him in for surgery. Maxie tells him not to give up. Maxie, Dante & Jason watch as the OR doors close.
(I need characters to stop saying Spinelli fell, he totally jumped)
The doctors & nurses operate on Spinelli. They got the bullet out. Enter Jackal PI.
While they continue to operate (his vitals aren't good). Jackal stands over him. He asks what is wrong with him. He said (something about) the fight of his life. He says so you took a slug, big deal. He says thats one of the hazards of the profession. He said you saved the girl, didn't you? He says she is some dish by the way. He says its time to rally if he wants to make it for the second leg of this man of danger triathlon. He tells him to make it through the surgery. He tells him he has to wake up to see those baby blues looking down at him (It is so much easier for me to hear/understand what 'Spinelli' is saying even with the words I don't have any clue what they mean vs. the Jackal accent *I have trouble with a lot of accents though so I think it would just be me, so if thinks are exact, sorry. I am stopping and rewinding several times when I am recapping here* He says that the dame will express her undying devotion. He tells Spinelli its time to man up, pal. The surgical team has a heartbeat and he is stabilizing. He tells Spinelli that he knew he had it in him, champ.
Maxie is sitting in the room with Spinelli (Sam & Jason look on) Maxie tells them that they wouldn't believe how brave he was. She says he fell from the sky at the same time as Lisa was going to shoot her. She says he was like a hero from one of those old detective movies. Cue a Jackal PI fantasy of Maxie in Jackal McCall PI office. Jackal says he has places to be. He tells her to breeze off. Maxie turns him around and says he saved her, that has to mean something. Cue back to Maxie holding Spinelli's hand telling him he is the bravest man she knows. She says Jason has nothing on him. Looks at Jason, and says no offense. Jason says none taken. Sam wants to go and give them their privacy. Sam says if she needs anything to call her.
Maxie tells Spinelli she should have kept her mouth shut vs. provoking Lisa. Maxie says she was just so pissed at her. She thought for sure she was going to kill her and then he came flying in to save her. She tells him he was so brave. Back to fantasy (Maxie pulls Jackal's tie and says he saved her life. She says she is there to thank him. She wants him to show her how he feels, knowing he has it bad for her. He says it was no big deal. He says he sticks his neck out for no one. He is the only cause he is interested in. He turns around. She says come on Jackal, you know I won't be able to sleep unless I can express my gratitude *arms around his neck* He says well fine. He says express away, sugar lips. And dips her down in a kiss.) cut back to Maxie kissing Spinelli. And he wakes up. She says welcome back hero. He says keep it coming doll face. She wants to know what he just said. He said that the kiss was stronger then whiskey. She wants to know if he is feeling ok. He tells her, his name is Jackal. (and a few other things I couldn't understand even after watching/listening 3x)

Man Of Action
The storyline is ridiculous. How completely stupid was if for Spinelli to sneak into the FBI office while a wanted man. They gave Bradford lemons and he turned it into lemonade. I laughed at the Spinelli scenes Wednesday & Thursday. This is the reason I LOVE Spinelli
I just watched both days back to back and honestly it was classic Spin. Spin is a guy with magic powers. Magic hacking powers. He can't stop using them just like he can't stop breathing. He wants respect. This issue always being that no one understands just how good he is. (well expect for Winifred who can't act like a professional to save her life)
I hope for the Jackal to be free SOON!
