Logan is a screw up!. He has got nothing on the Jackal.

Ok is it bad that I giggle when my sweet Jackal punched Logan and when Lulu 'heart' got scuffed up by Maxie. Both times I giggled.

The best thing about today was Jason & Spinelli.

Jason found Spinelli mixing vodka and orange soda to ease his pain (someone needs to tell him you don't mix your beverage of choice with vodka. not a good idea..)

Jason and Spinelli has another wonderful heart felt discusion. Spinelli forces me to like Jason (be it kicking and screaming all the way). Jason is warmer then he was a year ago and it not just because of Jake. Spinelli has a great deal to do with Stone Cold's thawing.

Then like a gift from the cyber-gods Logan walks in fresh from Lulu getting her heart broke. (gleeful laugh)

ok I like Georgie. I refuse to get my heart broke though so I can't jump on the G-Spin train just yet. The Spinlu train has gotten pretty roomy and I am a pretty sorry romantic. Georgie really is agreat friend to Spin that in its self is true.

Love tears and other things..

Lulu found out about the bet from Maxie. Logan cried because he lost Lulu.Spin found out what Logan did and he cried, because Lulu was hurt.

So, who truly loves Lulu?

Logan, the guy who is crying because he got found out and lost her?

Or Spinelli? He's the guy who might even have a chance with her now that Logan is out of the picture, but cries because he doesn't want to see her heart shattered again..

This is why I root for Spinelli and Lulu.





Also, I love the brotherly love between Spin and Jason. Steve Burton is right. This is the best thing that could happen to him. It humanizes the character. Patting Spin on the back and saying "Logan has nothing on the Jackyl" or "Don't drink that, (Vodka and orange soda) your going to be sick" (But you know he'd take care of him) Not to mention, Spin is gradually changing, too. No longer the lost puppy begging for attention, Spin is completely at ease with Jason. He tells him he's busy, Jason steals his potato chips/soda as a comeback.

I still have my mind open for Georgie, just having a hard time wrapping my head around her wanting to risk her heart on another guy who is hung up on Lulu. (Listening to a guy go on and on about loving a girl who stole her husband seems like a bit much.) Also, Spin is an acquired taste. Jason and Lulu's love has grown gradually. The Jackyl struggles outside of cyberspace for good reason.

I guess I'm saying that I just wish they had more time and it didn't seem so rushed.

I'm sure most have heard that Lindze has signed a three month extension to her contract.. Take from that whatever you will..

Five days with the cast and crew of Carts! But alas, no Bradford...

Sadly, there will be no Bradford to speak of in this recounting of my week with the cast and crew of Carts, but because Bradford is in the film, I thought you might all enjoy my near "brush" with meeting him FINALLY.

Well, the night finally arrived!! Opening night at the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival where CARTS would be premiering! I had worked on the staff of the festival since May, so this was FINALLY my pay-off! (Even though I still worked everyday of the festival except Sunday - my dogs are STILL barking!!)

At this point, I had met and talked to director/writer Chris Cashman and his lovely wife, Lisa, at the festival Media Preview Night in August, so I was looking forward to seeing them again on the opening night of the festival on Wednesday. This is where the filmmakers get to ride in the vintage car parade, walk the red carpet and watch the opening night film. Then afterwards, there's a huge party with food, drinks - lots of fun! WHERE'S BRADFORD ON WEDNESDAY? Unfortunately, according to Chris, he he talked to Bradford that day, and GH shooting was running late, so he wouldn't be able to make the drive to Temecula, BUT, at that point, there was still the possibility he'd be there for the premiere screening on Thursday.

So while we're sitting there enjoying the festivities (and the free-flowing Tommy Bahama rum drinks - yummy! LOL!), Brendan's cell phone rings - AND IT'S BRADFORD! He wants to know how it is, is everyone having fun, blah, blah. I wanted to yell out 'HI BRADFORD' but decided against it. :) SO when he hangs up, the word is he feels pretty confident he will be at the world premiere the next day, Thursday, PROVIDED GH doesn't shoot late again. He was feeling good they'd be finished in time.

So Thursday comes, and I'm SO EXCITED we might finally get to meet Bradford. Chris and I enlist my daughter and her friend, Nick, to decorate a shopping cart with "Carts" stuff, including head shots that Chris provided (yes, one of Bradford) and push it around to pass out postcards and promote the film screening that night. He even gave them the carts vests to wear from the film AND gave my daughter Bradford's tag from the movie! (it says "Ed" of course!) BUT, she wore another one that said "Cindy" while she worked. LOL! Here's a pic:

So 6:00 gets closer, and NO BRADFORD. Finally, Chris gets a text message that, alas, GH filming is STILL going on at 4:00, and he'd NEVER get there in time. BOOOOOOO!!!!! I was so bummed, you have NO idea. That's because this was the last shot - last chance. Even though the film was showing again on Friday night at the Valley Film Festival in L.A. and AGAIN on Saturday night in Temecula, Bradford was flying out Friday to Boston for his fan event. WAHHHHHHHH!!! Sigh and double sigh.

BUT the screening went REALLY well, lots of people and laughs. Along with Angelina Spicer that night, Albert Stroth also came, who plays womanizer "Steve." REALLY nice guy. Angelina is a lovely person and so pretty!! You'll be seeing lots of her in the near future. And Brendan Brandt. Well, what can I say? SUCH a cutie pie and so sweet!! If I couldn't meet Bradford, Brendan was a great second choice.

So SUNDAY, we were all supposed to sit together at the big black tie award's gala at Pechanga Resort and Casino. REALLY fancy dinner, champagne, wine and awards going to Smokey Robinson, Michael Madsen and Robert Rosen (head of UCLA film school) which was given by JOHN LANDIS! So needless to say, we were all excited. But I get a call at 4:00 p.m. Sunday that

CARTS WON BEST FEATURE FILM AT THE VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL! YAY CARTS!

So of COURSE, Chris and Lisa want to go BACK up to L.A. to accept their award. BUT Brendan and his friends stayed, so we sat with them at the gala, which was fun.

My daughter, Kathryn, and Brendan (YOU MUST ADD HIM ON MY SPACE! HE IS GOING TO BE FAMOUS WITHIN SIX MONTHS!! SO NICE AND TALENTED!)

So the night ended with a great time had by all. I told Brendan that he MUST tell Bradford hello and tell him that I am not a creepy stalker person. LOL! I told him myself, my hubby and daughter all think he is EXTREMELY talented and wish the best for him. Let's hope now that I know a few of Bradford's friends, even though I have never met him, that perhaps one day I will!

Word is that Bradford was invited to SOAP SUPER WEEKEND in Florida and he was asked to sing.

I guess we need to talk about the large elephant in the room..

On NIGHT SHIFT, the racier AU GH, our sweet, innocent Spin had sex with the serial killer last night. Spin thinks she likes him, while Jolene is actually using sex to divert him from finding out she's a murdering nutcase..







We knew sooner or later, our Spin would lose his virginity. Most were hoping for it to be someone who might love him, like Georgie or Lulu. I also think most expected Spin's first time to be awkward and poignant, since more times than not that's how first time sex is. So, (if you want to discuss) how do you feel that this awful girl who obviously finds him repulsive, was his first? Can you seperate the two shows? Does it ruin the story for you on the mother show?

On one hand, I can see the point that this somehow spoiled the fun, (obviously Robin/Patrick fans are having a really hard time right now) and it's hard to seperate the shows when they play the same characters. (I'm really hoping Guza does have an explanation at the end, whether dream or whatever)

OTOH, I love Cody/Lainey and Maxie/Dr. Julian.. Love Regina, Jason/Robin's closeness, etc. Would love that these characters/situations brought to the main show after NS was over. Actually NS can be a far more entertaining show than GH. I prefer the character driven to plot driven, and NS definitely has that going for it. Right now, it's really my favorite of the two shows.

Spinlu vs G-Spin

Since I am a Spinelli fan first (over any potential couple pairing) I thought it may be interesting to go over my thoughts of Spinlu vs G-Spin.

Thoughts on Spinlu.
I don't think it is much of a surprise my heart is with Spinlu. I think they have such potential to be an epic couple. They already have a rich history, (being kidnaped together, metro-court hostage crisis & keepers of baby Jake's true paternity.) He went into the metro-court FOR HER. Over his his fear he went in to try and save her save. He is such as true and wonderful friend to her too. I think when I write that out though you see my own personal issues with Spinlu. It seems so one sided. Lulu yells at Spinelli, takes and takes from him and NEVER gives. She has a greater interest in Logan's past then Spinelli's. The only thing Lulu has going for her is I do feel Lulu and Spinelli have get on screen chemistry.. (well when she is not yelling at him) Perhaps lulu is afraid to lose her heart to Spinelli and have him crush it? Who knows but she treats him horribly and then asks for him to say sorry to her. Sad Sad Sad. As a Spinelli fan I really have to question at times if Lulu is worthy of the Jackal's affections.

Thoughts on G-Spin.
G-Spin is the pairing the guys in charge did to quiet Spinelli's fans asking for Spinelli to have his love. The start of the summer they where not even in each others radar. (heck poor Georgie was not getting any screen time at all) A little over a year she has played second fiddle to Lulu. If they really do a G-Spin will that mean that Georgie will end up with a broken heart because of Lulu like what happened with Dillon and her? Those are the only negatives. Georgie is sweet to Spinelli and see he is the catch between a poser like Logan. I also think it would be justice to have Lulu lose Spinelli to Georgie.. Truly lose. For her to realize she lost outthe best guy from the girl who's life Lulu destroyed just last summer.

so in conclusion I don't care if it ends up being G-Spin or Spinlu.. As long as my Jackal is happy.

The potential that is G-Spin

Today was a really good G-Spin episode. Spinelli and Georgie were very sweet together. There is a warning to be had. Guza and company do not do couples well..

Georgie arrives to the penthouse to see if Spin can work his magic with a waffle maker. Spinelli and Georgie have a pretty heartfelt discussion as he works on the waffle maker. They get started talking about Logan and Lulu. They seems to hit a common ground and it goes well. Spinelli explains about his concern he sent Jason a a course to erase Logan. Georgie eases those concerns and in thanks Spinelli hugs Georgie.

He then thanks her for renewing his hope that he didn't ruin his chances with he blonde one. Poor Georgie ended up running away because she sees she is about to get in the same situation as with Dillon and the big loser to Lulu and with a broken heart to boot.

Friday: Bad Day

I kinda hearing Bad Day during this episode. Spinelli made me so sad.

We start off with Spinelli and Jason discussing the incident with Lulu, Logan & Spinelli. Jason was not to happy to be hearing about it. Jason even went to Sonny to get him to drop Logan. Poor Spinelli thought he inadvertly put a hit on Logan.

Spinelli took a walk in the park after his discussion with Jason and had a battle with a can. then ran into Sam and they had a discussion about revenge. Which was very interesting considering what Sam is 'up to"

After some reflection Spinelli decided to contact Lulu and tell her about his 'talk' with Jason. LoserLulu came out in true force about how unhappy she was. Hello Lulu he contacted YOU. If he really meant bad by it he would never have done that.

Spinelli's Fantasy

Spinelli the Torchered.

Wednesday was a BIG Spinelli day.

Spinelli goes into Kelly's and notices a uber-happy Blonde One. The naughty bad blonde one swoops down at the sight and sits down with Spinelli. She then proceeds to torment Spinelli about the reason that Lulu was so happy. She must be in good mood because she is 'getting some' from Logan (gag). I really must say how much I love scenes with Spinelli & Maxie. Forget Lulu, Georgie & even Jolene. SpinMax would be soo much fun. ok back to the scene. Maxie keeps poking Spin till Lulu comes over (still sickly joyful) and 'scares' Maxie away. Lulu asks whats wrong and Spin tries and change the subject till the 'unworthy one' come in.

Lulu thinks ok great I been completely brain washed by the unworthy one lets have my two favorite guys make peace with each other. Logan 'faked' it pretty good but Spinelli refused. He would not accept Logan. He wished Lulu well and all the happiness in the world but refused to be fake for Lulu. Way to go Spin! He then got up and left.

He then went to the penthouse to lick his wounds and deal with his feels. Poor Spinelli. He was not there very long till the DA of darkness came looking for Jason. Spinelli just started letting out the feelings he had kept bottle up with Lulu. Bradford did amazing in these scenes. Very powerful

After Ric finally leaves Spinelli chases away his sorrows with some BBQ chips with an orange soda chaser.

He then starts to have a daydream involving Lulu and "the girls next door". Not only was it entertaining to watch but you could get into a whole seperate blog posting about the how young men have stereotypical views of females. (1960s Lulu contrasted with the playboy playmates)

in the end fantasy Spin chooses Lulu over the other blonde ones.
