American Pie Beta House: Bradford's role

warning: None of the American Pie movie have any class. They are vulgar, gross and raunchy by definition. PLEASE do not have your minor Bradford fan watch it. There is swear words, nudity (tons of breast and fake penises), simulated sex and simulated implied beastiality. Well I could go on with examples but i think you get the idea. If you are easliy shocked or offended please don't watch it, it is not worth it.

Well as many know Bradford took about a month long break from General Hospital this past summer to film a part in the direct to DVD movie "American Pie Presents Beta House".

Bradford had the part of a handicapped member of the Geek House named Jake. He was the house leaders mistreated and disrespected sidekick. The Betas (the movie's heroes) befriended Jake. During a pivotal part of the movie Jake helps out the Beta's and they reward him.

Pretty classic storyline. Interesting for a American Pie movie (what is it American Pie 6 or 7?) well Jake was pretty much left on the cutting room floor.

I rented the movie yesterday. I watched the WHOLE movie. Jake is pretty much a background player. We see him but is really barely on the screen. Thankfully they have a deleted scenes and storyline sections and he is in both. They have a recap of what Jake's storyline would have been in the deleted storylines option. It seems to included what would have been most of Jake's 'important' scenes.

In the bonus features you can find the extra Bradford stuff at these options.

Deleted Storylines : There is a commentary on/off feature and Bradford commentates through out not just Jakes storyline but also the other ones.

Deleted Scenes: Bradford/Jake plays a pretty important role in one of the games that gets cut out and we see that. Here. There is again an commentary feature and Bradford commentates throughout the section not just his deleted scene.

American Pie PSA:Bradford is included in this.

So for those wondering I recommend renting it as long as you can handle watching an American Pie Movie. Heck if you like that kind of thing buy it. You can choose to skip or watch the whole movie but don't miss the bonus features with Bradford. (as long as you are of age and can handle it)

Georgie was a Gift....

Today was Heartbreaking.

Dillon found out about Georgie. Shortly after he found out he had a really nice scene with Spinelli. Month ago they where 'fighting' over Lulu now they are both heart broken over her passing. Dillon her past and Spinelli her never realized future. Spinelli found himself calling Georgie .. Georgie instead of one of his many names he had for her. It was well acted by both Bradford and Scott. I realized how much I missed Dillon.

Spinelli at the end of the episode visited Georgie's home and met Georgie's mother. She knew who he was. It is obvious that Georgie had been telling her mother about him. Poor Maxie.

Where did General Hospital go?

You know that soap opera that used to be on at 3pm eastern time on ABC. You know that soap that had Luke and Laura's wedding? You know that soap that gave us storylines like BJ's death and Maxie's Heart? Remember Stone? Ned.. remember his leather pants. Remember there used to be this family called the Hardy's oh and other family called the Quartermaines Yeah THAT show.

When did it get canceled and no one told me?

I will watch this show they replaced it with. Its kinda like General Hospital and it has this great character named Spinelli. I will keep watching it for him but I am thankful I have a DVR. Yesterday this wonderful amazing character Georgie died. She was on General Hospital too. All of Port Charles watched her birth. It was such a funny and heart warming story. Well yesterday she died and instead of focusing on her death they focused on some other storylines I didn't care about. Well back to Georgie. She grew up. She was smart and beautiful. She was REAL.

Soapbox did a great blog entry about yesterday too.

Guza Leaves Us with Nothing but HO HO HO's for Christmas - and Beyond

I cannot believe it…. and yet I can completely believe it. YES, we know Georgie is going to die. YES, we know Georgie was in love with Spin, but it will go nowhere because she must be a VICTIM. YES, we know Spin and Lulu will never be because Lulu must love anybody BUT Spin. We feel the knife in our backs, thank you, and a Happy Holidays to you, too, Guza!

But that just couldn’t be enough. They had to TWIST the knife and dig it deeper by having Stone Cold bring Spin to the realization that Georgie likes him - just before she DIES!? And THEN to have Spin realize that someone who is so special, intelligent and beautiful can have feelings for HIM – to have such a wonderful, happy look on his face - NOT a “but I’m in love with the blonde one” look or “hmm…I just think of her as the fair friend and nothing more” look. He actually looks thrilled at the prospect, a face full of hope and possibility.

A little happiness for Spin? NAH! Let’s throw him to the wolves!

Now I have to face several weeks of poor Spinelli living through the grief of Georgie’s death, probably blaming himself for not finding out more about the “text message killer” in time to save her, in addition to feeling guilty and distraught for not realizing Georgie’s true affections for him before her untimely demise - and the realization that he'll never be able to pursue them. Not to mention the inevitable half-hearted "so sorry, Spinelli" moment from Lulu, just before she has to dash off to be the meat in a ho-bag sandwich for Logag and Johnny. Lord knows if we're going to torture Spin, we may as well go for the full enchilada. No chance for a warm moment from Lulu, even though Spin has been there for her countless times. Maybe I'll be wrong about that - but can you blame me for being skeptical?

Even though I know Bradford is going to put in an Emmy-worthy performance with the material he's given, it’s just too much.

So with Emily and Georgie gone, so is the innocence. Unless Spin wants to have his heart broken or get an STD, he's pretty much up the proverbial creek. There's Nadine, but I'm perplexed as to what they're doing with her. A random, and frankly uncomfortable, placement in the "girl's night" scene at Jake's and an even more random appearance during the chicken soup with Georgie scene. Other than that, it's definitely "ho ho ho's" for the holidays over at GH.

I’m just too friggin’ disgusted. I don’t know what the hell TPTB are thinking with these storylines and cast decisions of late, but this is not the “good” kind of anger I think they want from fans. There are storylines and characters you love to hate - and then there's just hate. Read the boards. I’m not the only one thinking of abandoning ship.

So unless there was an 11th hour change of heart and Georgie actually survives come Monday (I know, laugh it up – I don’t believe it either), then I think I’m on GH vacation for awhile.

To sum up my feelings on the matter, here's a fantastic rendition of "How the Guza Stole Christmas" from the scrubs board:

From the G-Spin board

I saw this posted at the G-Spin board by a poster called "htown_loves_georgie"...

I think this says it all:

I'm afraid that's going to do it for me. I gave "GH" a year, drawn back in for Laura's temporary reunion with Luke. Spent all year with these characters, and find that most of them are seriously warped individuals. The two sweetest souls of them all now crassly murdered. Petty vanity reigns supreme. Selfishness. Deceit. There's little ying-yang balance here, weighted massively in favor of the dark side. I don't like it anymore. I don't need to feel upset by these storylines. They are actors in a play with no underlying theme of redemption, simply repeated motifs of sordid life waste, with occasion humor or cool collages to music.Better things to do in life than be angry and sad over a TV show. I'm done with it.

So Sweet Georgie is murdered today.. I belive it will happen right at the end and then keep going Monday with the aftermath. Merry Christmas.

Again I ask WHY.
Yes as a huge Bradford fan I am looking forward to his performance but as an almost life long GH fan I am heartbroken. I can't even compare this with Emily's death. Emily experienced adult life. While she was married Georgie still didn't get much of a chance to live.

The red shirt

I had to post a picture of the infamous red shirt. I have the episode saved to take a picture myself but the house is too bright to take a picture so i used my stand by.

Spinelli's Shirt from 12/11 Episode - and Diane!

Um....I have to wonder....do you think Bradford put up a protest to that shirt Spinelli wore on Tuesday?? It looked like he was getting ready to do an episode of Sesame Street with all those numbers going up the front - and zipped clear up to his neck!! LOL!! That was AWFUL!

But I LOVED LOVED LOVED him handing Johnny's rap sheet to Diane, and her asking "how did you get this?" And he kinds of hovers behind her and says in sort of a low, sexy James Bond voice - "because I'm the Jackal....assassin of Cyberspace.." Bradford nailed that one! LOL! And as she leaves, he yells out "enjoy your Himalayan bath salts!" HAHAHA!

Don't you just ADORE Diane?? This is a woman I want to meet in person. No one comes off with an attitude that perfect in a scene without a bit of it in them to begin with. Her whole speel about being angry she was taken away from her bath salts and "2 fingers of scotch" was priceless.

Spinelli has been in far too few scenes these days. Although I'm already mourning the loss of Georgie, here's hoping that her death at least brings us more Spin screen time.

Article on Bradford and Monavie (with pic!) this Sunday!

This Sunday, there will be an article in The Canyon News about Monavie. Bradford and I are both quoted in the article, and it talks about the Monavie meeting from last week, how I shared the product with the writer, etc. Bradford also submitted a really cute photo I'm sure you'll want to see. :) If you live in Southern California, you can pick up a copy, but if you DON'T, you can also read it online this Sunday at http://www.canyon-news.com

Monavie Meeting with Bradford!

So for a little over a week now, I have been a member of “Team Bradford” as a distributor for Monavie! Let me say that while becoming friends with Bradford is a MAJOR plus to being a Monavie distributor, given what a wonderful guy he is, I have come to find that the product is becoming a much bigger reason for doing it.

Bradford was kind enough to send me two sample bottles of Monavie to try a few weeks ago. My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect, but after finishing the bottles, we were HOOKED! Especially my husband. He has a lot of joint problems, knee problems and pain from an old ankle injury. The Active Monavie with Glucosamine has STOPPED the pain! Not to mention we both have better mental clarity, an improvement in our skin (I have had two patches of eczema that plague me EVERY WINTER without fail, and they are both GONE!) and especially a BIG improvement in our sleep. I’m telling you, this stuff is like liquid gold.

So living in Southern California, I was able to attend a Monavie meeting last week up in Studio City, which Bradford invited me to. It was so great to see him in person again, and he was so gracious and helpful, giving me a big hug when I arrived. The meeting was INCREDIBLY motivational, and Bradford and I were both PSYCHED at the end! The speaker was AWESOME! I also met Derk Cheetwood (Max) who organized the meeting. He was lovely, as was his very pregnant wife! Bradford also introduced me to Steve Burton, and wow, he is so excited about Monavie. (It was interesting watching him in the front of the room towards the end of the meeting, dutifully filling little tasting cups with Monavie - who knew Jason had a domestic side? LOL!) Steve told me that he had done everything completely the opposite of the speaker we had just heard, and yet, he and his wife are STILL making money from the product, besides just feeling great. It was a high for me to meet Steve, of course, but the capitalist in me was also highly inspired by his enthusiasm. I'm not going to deny it was also a lot of fun to check out his humongous biceps! - they are just as big in person as they are on GH! LOL!

Bradford and I talked at length after the meeting, and it was a lot of fun. He is just the most enthusiastic and cool guy to talk to, and I was grateful for all his help and words of encouragement.

Why oh Why..

Ok I am going to vent about a future storyline. Do not continue if you are trying to stay spoiler free....

Well sweet wonderful amazing Georgie dies next Friday (12-14 to 12-17) it is more senseless then Emily. Senseless. I am looking forward for what I am sure will be wonderfully acted scenes by Bradford. I don't want want Georgie to die..

Sweet Blind Spinelli

Ok this post is a week late .. (lost my transfer cable)
Air Date: 11-29-2007

Spinelli is still babying the cold he had at Emily's funeral.
Georgie who's heart belongs to the clueless Spinelli brings over chicken noodle soup. Georgie tells Spinelli of the healthy properties of chicken noodle soup.

Spinelli is so very honored that Georgie thought so much to bring him soup. He was so excited that Spinelli caused Georgie to spill the soup all over herself.

Georgie ends up in a robe that came from the pink room while her clothes were cleaned.

Spinelli and Georgie have a very sweet conversation when knock. knock

More chicken soup.

Who needs Lulu.

Bits and pieces around the net on Jaspin events..

these recaps/pics come from "The Canvas" which is a Steve/Becky site.

I'm going to post the bits and pieces about Bradford from various posts concerning the three events:-/

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

From Snoopygubs at "The Canvas"..

Then our dear, dear Bradford. Who, before this weekend I was just in love with like everyone else, but now I just want to keep him safe and protected from the big, bad world. He was AMAZING. First, he did in fact crawl and then dance up the aisle, and when he got on stage, Steve commanded him to dance, which he did happily. Then he took out the pre-written questions, dropping all his change and a tic-tac on the floor, which had Steve dying with laughter...

And the first question he read was, Would you marry Elizabeth and raise Jake? He paused, looked up, cocked his head to the side and said, "Yeah!" and moved the paper to the back. Steve went to grab the paper and the understanding dawned on Bradford and he was like, "Oh...that was totally YOUR question, wasn't it?"

Next question: Would Steve ever hang out with Bradford? Steve said no way...and then said they played Madden all the time. Then Steve told the funniest story about when they were shooting Night Shift and it was his birthday. He had a late shoot and he called Bradford to crash at his place. Bradford broke in, "I was SOOO scared!" and Steve said, "I get there and he offers me a futon! I haven't even seen a futon since 1987!"

Bradford's question: Do you really like orange soda and potato chips? "Orange soda is delicious. And potato chips are nutritious and fortifying." Someone brought up the soda and chips and he totally opened the soda and chugged half of it while Steve looked on in disgust.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Someone asked if Bradford liked L.A. and he said it was comfortable, but it doesn't have any charm. He loves his New England...

Then the Georgie questions. Bradford really seems to love working with Lindze and he said, "I would like to luuuuuuv her." Then he said that the soup scene was all one take, because they didn't want to douse poor Lindze with soup five times. They also didn't realize that the soup would almost make it like a wet t-shirt contest, and that she almost lost it cracking up when it actually happened.

They talked about traveling together, and this, to me, was one of the funniest parts of the show. Bradford was acting all enamored of Steve and started shifting closer to him. "Steve has this proximity issue...but when we're on a plane, he can't get away from me." Steve started shoving him, laughing the whole time. He grabbed the mike from him and told the funniest story about being bumped up to business class...but the flight attendant clearly didn't really want them there. Bradford said he felt like he was standing in front of his fifth grade teacher, getting in trouble, and then Steve asked why then did he go to the buffet and stuff as many muffins as he could into his shirt? Then he said that they all fell out later when they were trying to recline in their seats, and Bradford said happily, "I almost slept with Steve Burton!" and started hopping around like a girl.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Derk then told his side of the story, saying that he went to the red carpet room, and someone asked him if he was a member. He said no, but how much did it cost? He was taking his money out when the woman told him $500. He said he put the money right back in his pocket and said, "I'll be at the bar, where all this only costs $25."

Do they ad lib lines? Sometimes, they try to. Did Tony Geary get up on purpose from the chair at the beginning? Bradford tried to answer and Steve cut him off, saying, "You're not even in that picture!" and Bradford hung his head while Steve laughed at him.

Irene then asked her question: Would Jason ever let Spinelli babysit the kids? Bradford got all excited, gripped the mike harder and opened his mouth - "Ye-" and Steve yanked it out of his hands and was like, "No. No way. Never. Not in a million years!" People started awwwing, and he was like, "Would you let him babysit your kids? He's never babysitting Jake! He sits in his room drinking all day...and don't tell me it's just orange soda. No one who drinks soda acts like that!"

Bradford's question: Who decided on the hair? He used to wear it like that in college, and it kind of stuck. He said when he read about Spinelli's character being quirky, and that the writers wanted to laugh when the first saw their Spinelli, he decided to wear it like that and when he walked in, Guza and Phelps cracked up at him. Steve lost it here, pretty amused that the two head honchos pretty much laughed at Bradford before even hearing the kid open his mouth.

What was Spinelli thinking during the Heffner girls' scenes? Bradford's face went slack and he started shaking his leg. Then he mumbled something about baseball and Steve grabbed the mike from him.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

courtesy Jill at the Canvas:

* Jill asked Steve what he thought of Bradford's comment from SSW that Spinelli should hook up with Elizabeth, and Steve got this 'You have GOT to be kidding me' look on his face, and he turned to Bradford and said "Are you trying to take my woman?!"

from brooksrbetter TC:

*Steve said that he can't imagine any other actor playing Spinelli, because it would be really bad. Derk and Steve both complimented BA on his abiliity to get through all the lines. Derk said just reading Spinelli's lines in the script scares him, and Steve said that he (SB) is such a good actor he only ACTS like he knows what Spinelli is saying because he really doesn't. Bradford says that he likes to learn his lines the morning of shooting so that he is fresh when he says them and can be in the moment. Sometimes, that way, things can just "occur" and not feel over rehearsed.

Bradford was asked about California, which he responded was "comfortable." But doesn't have the charm of New England and the east coast. Although he was being generous because where we were yesterday on the east coast was pretty much charm-free. He added that palm trees are pretty cool.

*****

Sound like most had fun. Admittedly there were some complaints about how large the event was (New Jersey had 400 people) but I imagine anything attached to Steve Burton would be that way. It's good for Bradford is that his star is rising---(he was the hottest ticket at SSW) but bad for his fans is that he's probably not going to be as accessible as he use to be.
