Campaign to get Spin a girlfriend

This post is based on hearsay and possible insiders, but they were right about Georgie, so I'm not taking an chances this time..

Lindze was told that they wrote her off because they wanted to go in another direction. SOD claimed G-Spin had good buzz. She could have been written into the sunset with Dillon or sent to school, so my speculation, (based on that) is they wanted to make Maxie and Spin into tragic figures..

So...

Like Spinlu?

Like Spin and Nadine?

How about that Maxie?

If you want to see Spin with a particular woman, you need to let TPTB know, NOW, whether it's snail mail or calling...or both.

You don't care for bad boy/Lulu SSDD, Johnny/Lulu or Logan/Lulu? Let them know you want Spinelli/Lulu.

You love the chemistry between Nadine/Spin, better than the possible pairing with Nikolas, you better let them know.

Like the idea of Spin and Maxie because they have so much in common? Let them know. Lucky and the Lulu leftovers are lurking.

Spin fans are a quiet bunch, we sort of take the crap they shovel at us. Go to FCW or SSW and they are much louder. They let it be known that they loved Spinlu and wanted the Jackal to end up with her, but where does this get them? They loved G-Spin, only to watch her get killed off.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really tired of this.

Nadine and Spin where great together in the scenes. They just make me happy. Spin being respected by a female is just enjoyable.

Just Added in:

I just thought to let you all know that Steve Burton's appearance in April on the 26 at 3:00pm is SOLD OUT but he is going another show that they call Special VIP Show. That is on the same day but at 6:00pm and the lady that I spoke to said "That show has not only Steve Burton, but also Natalia Livingston, Bradford Anderson, and Derek Cheatwood" that will be there. That show is also limited to 60 tickets. When my Mom called (this was a Christmas gift for me) for the tickets they told her that and also told her that there was only 8 tickets left (now 6 are left...my mom bought 2 ). Oh, and I almost forgot how much the tickets are. The tickets for the Special VIP Show is $150.00 a ticket. The lady that my mom spoke too said that there might be a morning show but she didn't hear anything on that yet and she doesn't have the information papers on it yet, if there is going to be a show.

I just thought to let you all know incase any of you wanted to go.

Rene's Best and Worse of Spinelli, 2007

Well, I guess it's my turn to throw my hat into the ring for "Best and Worst!"

BEST OF 2007

5. JaSpin - Especially during Stone Cold's "Secret Pain." TREMENDOUS turns from both actors. They are an awesome combo. Their on-screen time as a duo has been less so lately than earlier in the year, but let's hope for the best in 2008.
4. All pre-Logan SpinLu. Lulu learning about the rape, the "secret pain," looking for Rick's real killer, etc. Once Logag hit town, it was O-V-E-R
3. Georgie's death and Spin's subsequent "realizations" about her feelings for him. Although to me, Georgie's death is a slap-in-the-face to all that was still good in the GH universe, Bradford has most definitely earned an Emmy nod.
2. Spin whacking Lulu over the head at the Black and White Ball. Something we ALL wanted to happen for quite some time.
1. Metro Court Hostage crisis - EVERY SCENE. Just awesome.

WORST OF 2007

5. The brutal mistreatment of Spin by Lulu and Logag. After everything they had been through as friends, the complete shift from best friend to bitch in the character of Lulu was just beyond reprehensible.
4. The Three Stooges - While it had its' cute moments, for the most part, it was just annoying. Made all three characters look like saps.
3. Spin loses his virginity to Jolene - UGH. When it was an "alternate universe" show, I managed to stomach it, even though it was SO anti-Spin, but now that we're supposed to be integrating back into GH, I have to live with the fact that he would do such a thing (totally against character) while pining for Lulu. Not cool.
2. Black and White Ball - Other than two or three small scenes, Spin was wasted in this storyline. He was awesome with what he had to work with, but given his past with the Hostage Crisis, it would seem they would have given him a better chance to shine as the hero this time around. I guess there's always February, 2008!
1. Spazz-a-Lot Spinelli - For awhile there, someone seemed to equate Bradford getting a contract with making him into a complete spastic nerfbag - that person was either fired or was finally bitchslapped into submission as the trend has blissfully STOPPED.

Greatest Spin scenes 2007

Spikey's pick of greatest Spin scenes of 2007: (NS and GH)

I just noticed the majority of these are rather poignant and sad, when BA obviously excels at comedy, too. These scenes were just standout to me.

10. Spin and Dillon talk about Georgie (after her death)

9. Spinelli tells Jason that he struggles with Life and wants advise about Lulu. (the original)

8. Spinelli pleads with Jason to claim his son, and you get the feeling he has strong abandonment issues.

7.Spin knocks Lulu in the head and is sorrowful. When she awakens, she tells him she can't imagine life without him which makes him slightly guilt stricken, but we remember that they can be so great together, so who cares?

6. Spinelli outside of the nursery, after Stacy dies (NS) (tied with elevator scene with Jason)

5. Lulu/Spin fantasy dance

4 Spin finds Georgie dead. (hate the scene, but his performance was sublime)

3. Lulu finds out about the rape, runs to Spin, can't find him but in the end, he is just where he should be. She leans her head on his shoulder.

2. Spin angrily rants at Ric and (in Shakespeare style) wonders if he should have seized the day with Lulu.

1. EVERYTHING from the Metrocourt hostage crisis (the character completely won me over in this)

5. B&W ball may have been pretty but it did little to showcase Spinelli and the storyline its
self was dumb. It did have a few highlights (Nadine & Spin being chased by Anthony Z)

2. Logan and his assult of Lulu & Spinelli
1. Killing Georgie (We got AMAZING Spinelli scenes but it was not worth the loss of such a character.)

4. Lots and lots of Spinelli screen time.
3. Spinelli and all his girls, Lulu, Georgie & Nadine. For a guy who never wins he seems to still
be a babe magnet.

1. Seeing Bradford amazing acting regardless of the material.
