What’s next for One Life to Live & All My Children? Well ABC has licensed them to Prospect Park.

Prospect Park will continue to tell their stories vie online. What does this mean? Well, we don’t exactly know yet. But with all the sadness lately surrounding the genre, the Emmys being a bigger joke then 2010…I take it as a victory.

A lot of fans watch these shows vie online as it is already or vie DVR/TIVO or soapnet. Since the industry hasn’t come up with a way to include these viewings into their rating systems, of course daytime ratings would be lower than decades ago. Most people work during the day now.

Reading around online some are already expecting this new format not to work. Why? Why be negative when we do not know anything more than the shows will continue. Will they last? Who knows? Should they at least give it their all and try? Of course. There are a lot of possibilities and perhaps job opportunities for many if this becomes successful. With all the buzz it is currently getting, I hope it just continues to grow. A Chicago radio morning show was even talking about AMC & OLTL going online the morning after the announcement. There was also an article on the Comcast homepage & EW.com and TvGuide.com. These are just a few examples (I am sure there are more)

I for one have so many questions. Will there be a new show five days a week? Will they have commercials to during these episodes so they can have bigger budgets? We have been promised the quality will be the same. The length of the episode will be the same. And this deal is multi year. But will they be on 52 weeks a year? Or will there only be 1 episode a week for 22-24 weeks like primetime shows? Also, what actors will continue to this new format? Something like this would allow the actors to do other projects or just spend time with their families.

By these beloved shows going online, sadly they may lose older viewers who may not have a computer in their home or nursing home. But they may also gain new fans. I think by taking these icon shows to the internet it may give new hype and buzz too many web series. This could be a very good thing for many. Perhaps there will be a new award show next year vie online.

I for one am not interested in cooking shows, talk shows, game shows, and so called ‘reality’ TV shows. I want actual shows that tell a story, that have a message, that make me feel something (anger, happiness, laughter, etc). I want shows to teach something to its viewers. So if that means all my shows have to go vie online so the networks can produce their ‘cheaper’ shows then I say BRING IT ON!

Ever since these two beloved long running shows got the ax by ABC, there has been a lot of support, a lot of buzz surrounding them. There have been rallies, coupons, cancelation of advertisement, boycotts and article upon article about what would be next. One should never anger a soap fan. Now maybe the world will understand that it’s not just about that we will miss our favorite shows, storylines, characters, actors or the genre dying. Many people have met very good friends vie these shows over the years. There are other things at stake here. There would be lots of unemployed people and giving no respect to a genre that clearly isn’t dying.

So while ABC/CBS/NBC can show whatever they choose during the daytime (minus GH of course) looks like I will be glued to my computer to watch One Life to Live.

Who thinks Spinelli would be all over this idea?

Maxie is fixing Sonny's collar. Jackal busts in and wants his mitts off his dollface.

Sonny doesn't want to see him until he finds his money. He says the cabbage isn't his problem, but squeezing his tomato is. Maxie apologizes and says Spinelli is too or he will be when he is back to his old self. Maxie wants to leave. He says he doesn't take orders from her or no one. Maxie says she is not his dame and she was fixing his collar. He says its the oldest excuse in the book. He is not buying it not tonight, not ever. Sonny wants him gone. Jackal tells Maxie that dames like her make guys go stupid, even ones pulling a ball and chain. He doesnt blame her. She says she is in a very committed relationship with Matt Hunter, very committed (keep telling youself that sweetheart and you'll be back burned again for what 10 more months with pretty much no story =) ) He says her sugar lips told him otherwise on more then one occasion. He says it has nothing to do with talking. She says he caught her off guard. Sonny wants him gone. Jackal calls him a lowlife.

Maxie says that Spinelli did not mean that. Jackal says Jackal PI meant every word. Maxie says he would never call Sonny that. He is Mr. Sir. Sonny is going to call Max. Jackal says bring it on. Maxie tries to explain. Jackal says if you have a problem with me, you deal with me. Brenda wants them to be quiet as Alec is alseep. He says he has a dish like this at home and the pollucka still wants to dine out? Jackal wants her to keep him on a leash, he says he caught him with his paws on his dame. Maxie says she is not his dame, she was fixing his collar. Jackal says he saw what happened. He says he is a trained professional. Sonny wants them gone. Brenda wants to know whats wrong with him. Maxie wants her to have compassion. Jackal says he loves when she gets hyped up. Sonny just wants them gone.

(Spinelli clearly has horrible friends. Why are they not calling in specialists?)

Maxie wants to take Jackal back to the hospital (as he is in pain and sits down on the pier) He says no can do sugar lips. She wants him to stop calling her that, reminds him yet again her name is Maxie. she tells him he is a computer genius and he really needs to help Sonny find that money. He take her arms and puts them around his neck. She wants to know what he is doing. He says he is fixing a con (er maybe?) sweetheart and kisses her. A few seconds later she backs away. She gets up and says she is with Matt and only Matt. He too is now up...He says well her lips don't lie. At least not when she is kissing him. She says the only reason she promised to help him, is because he lost his mind. She wants him to find that money. She says how dare you keep kissing me. He reminds her that she has strayed before. He says every man is for himself as leans in closer.

She wants to take him to hospital so Matt can see if he pulled any stitches. He wants to go to his place and have her look. She says she really is in a committed relationship with Matt. She is trying very hard to be faithful to him because she doesn't want to hurt anyone like she hurt him. He understands, says she can't help herself. She says he is a figment of Spinelli's imagination. Jackal says no he came to rescue her. He is not leaving her in the mean streets alone. She says she does not need to be rescued. He is not a man of danger, she says he is a senstive sweet computer genius. *she is walking backwards and he is following* She sees Anthony and pulls him away. She wants him quiet. He says he hides for no one. He calls him Anthony Z. Says they need to settle a few things.

Jackal says he has no time, but he hears he is out of the big house trying to reclaim his turf. Jackal wants him to stay out of his way. Maxie says he isn't himself. Anthony recognizes him. Maxie says he has no idea what he is saying. He says he is crazier then he ever was. Daddy Z says you know where that leaves Sonny and Jason? Jackal response on their own like every man. He wants him to settle it with them. He says he doesnt take sides, but if he did (I think he says it wouldn't be with him). Anthony grabs him and throws him, smacks him with his own tie, and says he will snap his neck. Maxie says she is calling 911. Anthony says come and get me anytime, I can't wait to kill you in self defense. He walks away. Jackal says he has a score to settle.

Jackal PI needs to learn new words. Dame, Jackal PI, sugar lips, dollface--getting kinda old.

Jason tells Maxie that he hopes this new guy stays away from Sonny.

Cut to Jackal finishing his drinking, saying that hit the spot. He tells Sonny that Jackal PI compliments his taste in hooch. He wants a refill, Sonny knocks it out of his hand. He pulls out a gun and says no one touches the merchandise and tells him to keep his hands where he can see them. No funny business. Sonny wants to know what is wrong with him.

Jackal stands up and tells Sonny to cool his jets and back off. Sonny doesn't have time for this? (Seriously, what does that man have time for besides getting woman pregnant?) He orders Spinelli to get to his computer and find his money. Jackal says Jackal PI gets no kick out of technology. Its lazy. He says crime has to be solved by leg work, get out in the field. Sonny takes the gun out of his hands. Sonny says his tech skills are the only redeeming quality. He is ordering him around. He says he would have killed him by now if he didn't have that. He is telling him he hacks into things, moves money around, surveillance cameras. Jackal says sorry it doesn't compute. Sonny wants his money back. Jackal says the guy he wants doesn't exist anymore. He said when the computer geek took a real bullet he was finally set free, the real Jackal. He says he is at his service, as long as it doesn't involve computers.

(Ok I loved Maxie telling Jason that he really is warm and squishy)

Sonny wants to know what he means about getting shot freed the real Jackal. Jackal says for a big time crime boss, he is a little slow at the up take. Sonny says he is going to go against his nature and really try to understand what it is he is going through. Jackal says nothing is wrong, its finally right. He says he laughs in the face of death and something about day to day about sugar lips and yams? He does the guy thing of hitting Sonny's shoulder (like thata boy). Sonny tells him and wants it to sink in. He says his name is Damian and he works for his organization as a hacker, and this other idiot he is talking about is from a ridiculous book he wrote with Diane. Jackal says it wasn't written, it was lived by him. Sonny says it was was a fantasy. He is living a fantasy and this whole thing is a fantasy. Jackal says he is as real as that schnoz on his face. He says taking the bullet for the beautiful blonde one released him from the shackles and allowed him to take his rightful place on the mean streets. Sonny doesn't care who he is. Sonny says one of them is going to get his money back.

Sonny calls Jason about Spinelli basically said come get him or Max & Milo will make him disappear.

Jackal wants the 411 on the Corinthos/Z thing. Sonny says he is not discussing his business with the Jackal PI. He says if he wants to turn himself back to Spinelli, then maybe they can talk otherwise shut up. Jackal says just to be clear he is not taking sides in this upcoming war. He says he won't be looking the other way if bodies start to fall in his path. Sonny hates Jackal just as much as he hates Sonny. Tells him to shut up again. Jackal says quiet it is. Jason comes in. Sonny explains what happens. Jackal says he wishes he could help. Sonny wants him gone. Jason takes him. He does something that Spinelli would have done. He waved.

FYI Spinelli trended again...World Wide. That makes this what 5 times in what 2 weeks? Who-hoo. And they say no one is at home watching 'soaps' anymore. Whatever.

Maxie goes to Sonny wanting him to promise he won't harm Spinelli.

Jason returns Jackal back to penthouse. Sam comes down the stairs. Sam wants to know why he left hospital. Jason says Jackal PI left. Sam tells him he was shot and should be recovering. He appreciates her concern, but the hospital is no place for a man of action. He had to get back in the game. Jason says he went to see Sonny. Jackal says his charm was lost on the sinister. He made a deadly enemy. He says so be it, it comes with the territory. Jason wants him to stay away from Sonny. Jackal says he wasn't fond of the guy anyways. Jason wants him back on computer, he says sorry but thats a waste of Jackal PI time. He wants his gun back. Jason says no. Jackal says he will catch him on the rebound. Jackal leaves.

Jackal has his feet up on desk reading the newspaper. He says hey there Morgan whats the word on the street (when Jason comes into office). Jason just wants to know what he is doing. He is looking for cases. Jason went to hospital, they said he checked out. he said he had to get back to the mean streets. Jason is worried about his recovery. He says crime waits for no man. He said he had unfinished buisness that he needed to tend to. Jason said he can let Sam handle it. He said its a job for Jackal PI. He says he is not putting it off just because he got slugged in the chest.

Jason wants to know what the job is. Jason wants to take him back to hospital. He said those baby blues got the best of him. Jason says are you talking about Maxie? He said she is with Dr. Hunter, the guy who saved his life. He said he doesn't have to sit around and watch him hit on his doll. Jason is all that is why you left the hospital because you got jealous? Jackal wants to know how he would feel if some creep was pawing at McCall? Jason reminds him he almost died, he got shot and he should be in the hospital. Jackal says if sugar pants wants to play nurse, all she has to do is find him.

Jason tells him he isn't being fair to Maxie making her worry like this. He says a little worry never hurts and if anything blondie will appreciate him more. Jackal wants to know how many guys he knows who have come that close to meeting their maker and gone back to work...Jason says none. Jackal says thats his point. He says dames cant resist (er ???) Jason says Maxie wont be too impressed if she finds him bleeding on the floor. Jason says catch and throws the Spinelli book at him. Jason says getting shot hurts, he knows. He needs to give himself time to heal. Jackal wants to know why he wants him out of the action. Jason says he is his friend, is he not allowed to be concerned. Jackal says he will walk away for a while. Jason wants to know what he is talking about. Jackal reads something in the paper about about the warehouse fires. Jason wants to see it. Jackal says he walks the line between Light and dark common criminal.

Maxie enters the PI office yelling Spinelli. Jackal says there is no need to shout he is right there. She says she can not believe he scared her like that. She said she would hit him so hard right now, if he didn't already have a hole in his chest. He gets up and says have at it. He says he likes a dame who can duke it out. She wants to know why he left hospital. He says sounds like sugar pants missed him. She doesnt want him calling her that (er can't say I disagree). She tells him her name is Maxie. She says she can not have him dropping dead. She says he has to take better care of himself. He says why don't you take care of me instead *getting closer* She tells him that is the most sane thing that has come out of his mouth. She walks away and says she is taking him back to hospital. He grabs her and pulls her into a dip kiss. She says no no no how dare you. He says whats the matter, you haven't been kissed by a man who meant it before? She says he shouldnt be kissing her like that since they are not nonspouses anymore. He comes closer.

She walks away, he follows. He says something about on his watch...(grr accents) She says no they can't. he says something else. She says he is not well. She says he needs to be at the hospital, or at least home in bed. He says there is plenty of room for two. He gets closer. She backs him off. She tells him to stop hitting on her. He says he is a red blooded man, and she is a red hot woman, why fight it? She says she needs him. He says you see that came across loud and clear. He comes closer, she backs up. She says not like that. She makes up some computer problem. He says Jackal PI is calm in a crisis. He says if she wants soft lips or to slug someone he can do that, but tinkering around on a typewriter is not his thing and it never will be.

Sonny calls Spinelli. He is ordered to get over there. Jackal says its the head honcho himself. He says its not every day he gets invited to a mob bosses mansion. He wants to know what its regarding. Sonny says he doesn't have time for jokes. Jackal says his services don't come cheap, they go by the hour plus travel expenses. Clean cabbage. Sonny says if he has to send someone over there, he will be sorry.

Jackal walks in. He says nice digs (though er um Spinelli has been there before). He says crime obviously pays. Sonny doesn't have time for him joking around. Sonny wants to know where his money is. Jackal takes his drink and sits down. Sonny says Jason may put up with the way he speaks, but its his house, he wants his money. Jackal says they will discuss his money after they discuss his. He says its gonna cost you. Sonny says no my friend, its going to cost you.

Maxie (in super cute black and white dress) is knocking on penthouse door. She is looking for Jason. She gets Sam. She explains to Sam what is going on.

Jason walks in holding his laptop. He is using a prezel as a toothpick and reading the newspaper. Jason says he is glad he is ok. Jackal says hiya Morgan. Jason says what? Jackal says its good to see him, but he isnt complaining about all the cute little chickedi's rolling in and out there. But he says a guy needs a little mano ah mano time. He wants him to bring him up to speed. Jason is just looking at him strangely.

Jason wants to know what he is doing. He thinks he is practicing being in character for his next book. He says he is the real deal. Jason says whatever this is, it needs to stop right now. He says they have problems and he needs him to focus. Jackal puts down the newspaper and says problems, the breakfast of champions. Jason says he got a call from Bernie. He asks if he knows who Bernie is. Jason says there is 20 million missing from the off shore accounts. Jackal says inside job? Jsson says that is what he is suppose to tell him. He said tracking money, handling transfers is what he does. Jackal says he must be pulling his leg, he is no keyboard jockey. Jason says are you telling me you don't know how? Jackal says he has no clue.

Jason puts the lap top in front of him and says to open it up and try. Jackal wants to know where the handle is (he can't open it) Jason says are you serious? Jason opens it up for him. Jackal says thats mildly interesting. Jason says Spinelli a lot of money is missing and he needs to find it for him. Jackal says how much smackers, gets cut off when Jason says smackers? Jason says 20 millon. He says if he doesnt help him his entire organization will be compromised. Jackal says he feels for him, Morgan. He wishes he could help him out, he feels for him. Jackal says he needs one of those tech guys. In walks Maxie & Sam. Jackal says doll face you came back. Maxie wants him to stop calling her doll face. He wants to know why McCall isn't at the office, wants to know if she has any cases that she needs Jackal on. Maxie wants to know why he hasn't fixed him yet. Jason pulls Sam out to hallway.

Spinelli is staring at Maxie. Sam is on the computer with him. She wants to know if the gps system to track cheaters looks familiar to him. Sam is trying to get him to focus. He says it looks like another language. He tells Maxie she looks like she is sporting ??? (again with the accent) she wants him to stop staring at her legs as its creeping her out. Sam brings up something up. Its the video game. Jackal thinks its clever. Maxie tells him he invented it. He says it does not seem possible. Maxie says the saga of stonecold. Says he made a lot of money. He asked her what she is doing Friday. Maxie says see what I mean? Sam says so none of this means anything to you? He says its computer talk, its news to him. He says Jackal PI does not sit hunched over a machine, he is a man of action. He says he looks death in the eye (he was doing this come hither look to Maxie)

Sam wants to know if he wants to go over some cases. Jackal says they have to branch out to do things that are a little more juicy. Sam is surprised. He wants to know why. Sam says you have been really considered with me taking chances lately. Aren't you concerned about me getting pregnant anymore? Jackal gives her a look.

(again with the accent, but basically something about wasting something and her perigotive) Jackal says a dame has got to do what a dame has got to do. Sam says really? Sam says what about the buisness. Jackal tells her not to get hysterical. He says Jackal PI will take on the mean streets solo.

6/22/11 Spinelli recap

Jackal tells Maxie she is a sight for sore eyes. Maxie says he was incredible, the way he dropped down and saved her from Lisa. She said taking a bullet that was meant for her was beyond heroic. Jackal says he just lucked in trouble. She doesn't know how she will ever show her gratitude. He wants more kisses, calls her sugar lips. Maxie says the joke is over, doesn't have to talk like that. He says he told her his name is Jackal PI.

Maxie tells Spinelli he is really cute when he does that voice. She just wants to know he is ok. She wants him to drop the act and talk to her. He says its no act sweet face, what you see is what you get. Jackal PI in the flesh. Maxie wants to know if he has amnesia. He explains what happened. He said he should have tackled that crazy dame. He said he got a slight to the chest instead, he apologized. She said he was wonderful. She doesn't know how she will ever thank him. He says its just part of the job, kitten. He remembers going down, Morgan (and whatever he called Dante) busting in. He says after that its a fog. Maxie tells him that Lisa Niles is in a coma. They don't expect her to make it. Jackal says well that's justice for you. He says although he owes her one, as after all she brought out the real him.

Maxie says this is strange. She thinks he had a stroke or a concussion. She wants to get a doctor. He says her baby blues are the only medicine he needs. Maxie is going to ask him a couple of questions. She asks him his full name. He says Damian Milhouse Spinelli (he says something but again with the accents, no clue what but I get he made fun of it) as Maxie says she happens to like it. She asks who he lives with. He says Morgan, Jason Morgan. Enforcer to the big enchilada Sonny Corinthos. Maxie says good so far. She wants to know when he first kissed her. He says she has it wrong doll face. She was on a case with him, text message killer. He says she spotted a car and to cover their tracks, she planted one right on Jackal PI. He says he felt a jolt, like he stuck his lips in an electric socket. Maxie says enough about the socket. She asks what happened on September 24, 2009. He says they didn't get married but had an after party. He says he likes the dame just as much as the next fella but no one holds a candle to her. He says she made him a one woman, man dollface. She asks why they broke up. He says she took a walk on the dark side with Franco. He says he would have hung in, but you (watched several times still not sure what he said) She sits back down. She wants him to name one thing that no one else would know about her. He says she is making this too easy, calls her kitten again. He says the cute little freckles on her caboose. he says once they looked like the consolation (?) Maxie says only he would describe them that way. He says its like real estate. Location. Location. Location. Maxie looks at him puzzled.

Maxie listens as Jackal says he droppd in landing on his feet. He says the broad had hostages. Matt is also listening. Matt says Lisa fired the gun? Maxie tells him what happened. Jackal says that it didn't sit too well with you, dollface, did it? Maxie says it really upset her that she was calling him pathetic when it was obvious that the only pathetic person in that room was her. Jackal says he sticks his neck out for no one, but for you I make an acception dollface. Maxie says you saved my life Spinelli. He says again that his name is Jackal PI, buttercup. Matt thanks him for saving Maxie. Spinelli says that he saved his baby he says so he guesses they are even. He said the real hero was enforcer Morgan. He said something about Dante and the crazy dame. Maxe excuses them for a minute. Her and Matt leave. Maxie is worried. Matt says the tests show nothing. Says he is healthy. Maxie says he woke up with this bizarre personality. Matt says since when has Spinelli ever been completley normal? Matt brings up when Spinelli was Austriallian or the night. Matt says he will be ok, and he has rounds. He will be back.

Maxie runs back in and asks how he is doing. He is hankering for some chow and a shot of whiskey. Maxie says if he had a shot of whiskey he would fall down drunk or be completly naucious. Diane comes in. She says thank goodness you are ok, I just heard the news. Spinelli says if it isn't his favorite red head. He asks how the book buisness is cookie. Diane wants to know if he just called her cookie.

Spinelli recap 6/21/11

Maxie is holding Spinelli's hand when they want to come take him in for surgery. Maxie tells him not to give up. Maxie, Dante & Jason watch as the OR doors close.

(I need characters to stop saying Spinelli fell, he totally jumped)

The doctors & nurses operate on Spinelli. They got the bullet out. Enter Jackal PI.




While they continue to operate (his vitals aren't good). Jackal stands over him. He asks what is wrong with him. He said (something about) the fight of his life. He says so you took a slug, big deal. He says thats one of the hazards of the profession. He said you saved the girl, didn't you? He says she is some dish by the way. He says its time to rally if he wants to make it for the second leg of this man of danger triathlon. He tells him to make it through the surgery. He tells him he has to wake up to see those baby blues looking down at him (It is so much easier for me to hear/understand what 'Spinelli' is saying even with the words I don't have any clue what they mean vs. the Jackal accent *I have trouble with a lot of accents though so I think it would just be me, so if thinks are exact, sorry. I am stopping and rewinding several times when I am recapping here* He says that the dame will express her undying devotion. He tells Spinelli its time to man up, pal. The surgical team has a heartbeat and he is stabilizing. He tells Spinelli that he knew he had it in him, champ.

Maxie is sitting in the room with Spinelli (Sam & Jason look on) Maxie tells them that they wouldn't believe how brave he was. She says he fell from the sky at the same time as Lisa was going to shoot her. She says he was like a hero from one of those old detective movies. Cue a Jackal PI fantasy of Maxie in Jackal McCall PI office. Jackal says he has places to be. He tells her to breeze off. Maxie turns him around and says he saved her, that has to mean something. Cue back to Maxie holding Spinelli's hand telling him he is the bravest man she knows. She says Jason has nothing on him. Looks at Jason, and says no offense. Jason says none taken. Sam wants to go and give them their privacy. Sam says if she needs anything to call her.





Maxie tells Spinelli she should have kept her mouth shut vs. provoking Lisa. Maxie says she was just so pissed at her. She thought for sure she was going to kill her and then he came flying in to save her. She tells him he was so brave. Back to fantasy (Maxie pulls Jackal's tie and says he saved her life. She says she is there to thank him. She wants him to show her how he feels, knowing he has it bad for her. He says it was no big deal. He says he sticks his neck out for no one. He is the only cause he is interested in. He turns around. She says come on Jackal, you know I won't be able to sleep unless I can express my gratitude *arms around his neck* He says well fine. He says express away, sugar lips. And dips her down in a kiss.) cut back to Maxie kissing Spinelli. And he wakes up. She says welcome back hero. He says keep it coming doll face. She wants to know what he just said. He said that the kiss was stronger then whiskey. She wants to know if he is feeling ok. He tells her, his name is Jackal. (and a few other things I couldn't understand even after watching/listening 3x)

Spinelli recap 6/20/11

Maxie is telling Spinelli that Robin, Patrick & Steve are going to take care of him. Lisa wants everyone up. Maxie says she can not be serious she just shot Spinelli in the chest. She says he needs help because he is going to die. Lisa says the next bullet is going to her, as it was suppose to go to her in the first place. She says she is happy to rectify it. She tells the doctors they have once chance and to make it quick. Steve wants to be able to stabilize him. He says they need to call someone to help them. She wants everyone to sit down. Lisa says the next person who touches Spinelli or disobeys in any manner, the next bullet goes straight into Spinelli's head.

The 4 of them are just sitting there while Spinelli lies dying. Lisa says they already discussed the charges and now its time to give the evidence. Patrick tells her that she is a good doctor and she isnt just going to let a innocent man bleed out. Patrick just wants to help him, as he knows she doesnt want this on her concious. She says actually he spent months telling her how twisted she is, calling her a kidnapper, stalker, blamed her for ruining his marriage, she says someone who is that vindictive cant possibly have a concious. Steve says she isnt that person, not deep inside. He says she got lost. He wants to help her. He says this doesnt have to end badly for anyone. Lisa chuckles and said to stop with the pyscho babble. She says there is no amount of therapy going to give her her life back. She says just like the no amount of pleading is going to save Spinelli. Maxie is crying. Patrick says this is about him, he wants to help Spinelli. Lisa says we already established that SPinelli wouldnt be in this position if it wasnt for Maxie. Maxie says she did not make her pull the trigger. Lisa talks about Maxie's judgements, talking bad about her for hours. She says she is the judge and the jury. She says they are back in session. Patrick gets up. He says fine, I am guilty. Let Robin and Steve help him. Lisa says dont try to be the hero, we already established you are a selfish coward. She says she does believe in due process, she says she will give him a chance to defend himself before she renders the verdict. She says the prosecution now calls Dr. Patrick Drake to the stand. She does the swearing in. Robin cuts in and says that she doesnt even want to hear the truth. She says she was asking for her benefit as she thought she would want to hear it. Patrick says says he has nothing to hide. She asks Patrick if he ever loved her.

Lisa tells Patrick that its a simple question. Did you ever love me? He says it was college. He wanted to get through med school, no time for relationship. She asks if thats how he feels about Robin. He talks about Emma is the best part of his day. She says if the home life is so perfect why was he spending so much time with her. He said they used to be friends, and they were hanging out, catching up. He also said he was giving her mixed signals. Lisa tells him to tell the truth or be held in contemptive court.

Steve says there isnt much he can do for him, but says that someone must have lifted the lockdown. Lisa says that just means time is running out. Maxie just tells Spinelli to hang in there, that help is coming. Lisa says nothing would make her happier then to put a bullet in her heart (Robin's) Lisa says since he cant answer the other question, she asks if Robin is boring. Patrick says marriage is challenging, he says she isnt boring. Lisa says for a brian surgeon you arent very bright as it would be smart to humor the lady with the gun. She wants to see if Steve can do any better. She asks if he thinks she is a capable surgeon. He says there is no denying her skill in the operating room. She wants to know why he threatened to fire her. He said he couldnt afford her personal problems compromising patient care. Lisa wants to know about Robin and Patrick's personal problems. She says everyone in hospital knew about them. Steve says they were never arrested for attempted murder. Lisa brings up all the times Robin accused her of some outragous charges and how they were always dropped. Robin says because they never had enough evidence until now. Robin says her Uncle Mac is going to make her pay. She wants to know if Steve ever considered to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Steve says when they slept together he tried to not left it effect his abilty to run the hospital. He says but he take full responsibilty for letting the lines get blurred. She is pleased someone is willing to. Steve says he likes her. He says he really did. He says one of his biggest regrets is that he didnt help her more. He says he should have stepped in sooner. Lisa said she asked for a testimony not his pity. Robin says she asked for the truth and then never wants to hear what anyone has to say. Steve admits he thought maybe Robin over reacted a few times. He says thats how good she was at covering her tracks and manipulating the situations. He says its sad she really is a gifted doctor and now her career is over. She says she is the judge. She says its time for next witness and holds gun at Maxie.

Lisa wants to know at what moment Maxie decided to destroy her life. Maxie wants to know what answer will get Spinelli help. Robin tells her to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. she says the only help Spinelli will be getting is another bullet to put him out of his misery. Maxie says she knew Lisa had an agenda right from the start. The way she flirted with Patrick, talking about whole time. She says Robin gave her the benefit of the doubt because she is a decent person. Maxie says the truth? I'm a lot like you, I used to play the same games to get someone elses husband into bed, thinking they deserved better. She says she invested everything and came out with nothing, just like her. She says but thats where their similiarites end because she became a stalker, as she picked herself up and moved on she goes on to say after 1 drunken night with Patrick she lost her self-respect, her career and now her freedom. She wants to know if its worth it? Lisa just responds that she is the only one who gets to ask questions. Maxie says she is crazy if she thinks she is going to get out of there. Lisa says who says I want to get out of here? I am having a blast. She laughs.

Lisa says she calls Robin Scorpio Drake to the stand. Robin doesnt see the point, as Lisa will twist everything anyways. Lisa says she would never hurt Emma. She says its not her fault she has them for parents. Patrick interupts and Lisa says this is Robin's time. She wants to know if the babysitter gave her permission to take Emma. Robin says you mislead her. Lisa just wants an answer. She says she had permission to take Emma for ice cream. Lisa says she brought her home safe and sound. Spinelli starts to act up. Steve lifts him up so he can breathe. Robin asks if she admits she is wrong, can this just be over?

Lisa wants Steve back in his seat. Steve says he can't do that as his lungs are filling up with blood. Patrick gives him a pillow. Robin wants her to let them go. Lisa says trial will continue whether witnesses are breathing or not. Phone rings. Maxie is ordered to answer. Dante wants to know if everyone is ok. Maxie says Spinelli was shot and that he is bleeding really bad. Lisa says you tell them court is in session. Dante wants to make a deal. He wants to know what Lisa's terms are.

Lisa says nothing they can deal is going to be good enough. Steve says it will be her only chance. Patrick says she has to let Spinelli go. He says it will proove to police she that she didnt intend to kill anyone. Lisa is shocked that now he wants to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maxie just wants her to tell them what she wants to Spinelli can go. Lisa mocks Maxie. Lisa says she has what she wants, her day in court with all of them. Lisa says anymore interuptions and Spinelli isnt the only one who dies. Maxie says she is serious, says please dont call back and hangs up.

Lisa is standing over Spinelli. She kicks him a few times. Maxie wants her to stay away from him. Robin gets up. She says she has no idea how it feels to watch someone you love die, powerless to save them. Lisa says she pulls out the HIV card any chance she can. She wants her to sit. She says we all know your stupid sob story. Patrick wants to make a closing arguement. He says this isnt the person he knows. That this isnt the person he cared about in college, who used to be fun, and caring and always up for a challenge. He says she can still be that person. He wants her to put down the gun and walk out the door. He says he will walk with her. He says but first he has to trust her. Lisa has tears now.

Lisa says bravo. She says she almost believed his performance and them remembered how he could convince any college girl out of her panties. He is very good when he wants something. She says happy men don't cheat on their wives. She wants him to stop now. She appreicates his effort. Patrick really wants to help Spinelli. Lisa says she has reached a verdict.

Lisa says for her it was just sex, just two co-workers having sex. She says its really no big deal, it happens all the time. She says they are all found guilty for scapegoting. For blaming her, for their inabilities for life. She says their punishment is death. She fires her gun and then--in bursts Jason firing his gun. Maxie screams Spinelli. They want Jason to put gun down. Lisa is now holding Robin. Patrick is holding his arm. He wants Jason to just do it. She pushes Robin into the room and then runs. Dante tackles her.

Maxie is holding on to Spinelli's hand. She says they are getting him help. Robin goes to check on Patrick, who was grazed. Steve says he is in shock. Jason knows that means they don't have much time.

Gernee is in hallway, they get him there. Matt is going to operate. Maxie says Lisa was going to shoot her, she says he has to save him. She tell tells Spinelli he will be ok and that Matt is going to save him. She says he knows she wouldn't be able to take it, if anything happened to him.

Dante is the worse cop EVER. OMG who doesnt cuff her??? Seriously hope he gets fired and shipped back to Bensenhurst. She got up and had needle to Robin's neck telling Patrick to convince her not to kill her.

Father's Day Challenge

We have offically surpassed our Father's Day goal. We wanted to donate 5 totes in honor of the dad to be, but only one day into the challenge, we've already hit our goal! Amazing! 6/17/11 Spinelli recap

Writer: Michele Val Jean (aka one of my fave script writers)

Spinelli brings Sam to the hospital. He wants to call Jason, Sam doesn't want him to. Robin is there...and Patrick brings her a wheelchair.Spinelli thinks she might be pregnant.

Spinelli is pacing back and forth, Maxie sees him when she gets off elevator. She says he looks a little green. She says she isnt sick. She wants to sit and talk. He plops right down on the ground (at nurses station). She joins him. He says he has been a bad friend, Maxie doesnt believe him. He says he didnt have his partners back. He should have taken better care of her. Maxie wants him to go back. Spinelli talks about the surgery. Maxie says stakeouts can be kind of boring. Spinelli says Sam had some cramping due to his bad hiding spot. Maxie says maybe she just hasnt healed yet.

Spinelli knocks on Sam's door and he and Maxie walk in. Spinelli starts to fluff her pillows to make her comfortable. Maxie doesnt want him to hover. Sam says they are running a lot of tests. Spinelli says including the pregnant one? Maxie says Spinelli over involved, she explains that SPinelli thinks he might have had something to do hurting her unborn child?? Sam says come on, she is sure she is not pregnant. He says timing will tell. Spinelli is getting excited about the possiblity. Maxie says its fine to hope they have a child one day. Maxie wants to wait til results come. Spinelli wants to give him something her heart desires. She wants a mango smoothie.

Maxie tells Robin to tell Matt that she is making a smoothie run with Spinelli. (I like how they pretty much have Robin back to pro-Spixie again)

Robin tells Matt that Maxie left with another man.

Maxie wants to know how mango take taste so yummy in a smoothie and so bad by itself. Spinelli says really you think mango is gross? Maxie says its mushy and smells like socks.

Lisa starts hearing all these voices at once...And lets off the gun. She tells Steve, Maxie, Robin and Patrick to get in conference room. She tells Lucky & Spinelli to stay out of it, and get in elevator. She threatened to shoot Maxie in the head. The door is locked behind them.

(I love Brianna and the character of Lisa...This is a LOT of fun to watch. Kudos to Brianna)

Spinelli wants to charge into the conference room. Lucky says no. (At the beginning of episode he was calling her Maxie, and now she is Maximista). Lucky tells him he is the tech guy he wants him to get on his computer and figure out a way around the lock down. Spinelli goes to the nurses station computer and starts to pound. Lucky is on the phone with Mac. Lucky tells him to work on the lock down, not the ventalation system.

Maxie is going off on Lisa (duh of course she would) when Lisa is about to shoot her. Spinelli jumps through the vent, and says cease and exist. Maxie yells Spinelli.

Spinelli gets up and tells Lisa not to threaten Fair Maximista. Lisa tells everyone to sit down. She says you really are a moron arent you? He wants her to put the gun down, and not to make things worse for herself. Spinelli says she is obviously ill. He thinks the authorities would take that into consideration as long as no one gets hurt. Lisa wants to know who will take her pain and humiliation into consideration? Spinelli says he understands romantic disappointment. He says he knows what it means to invest your entire soul and being into a romantic relationship that doesnt work out. He says the pain is (word I dont know how to spell) and sometimes unbearable. He says taking revenge on the object of your affection does not (big word for take away) your pain. Lisa says you really expect me to take love advice from you? She tells him to have a seat and calls him a pathetic loser (oh she called him a nerd earlier)...Maxie says she cant talk to Spinelli like that. Spinelli tries to stop her, but Maxie goes off on Lisa again. Spinelli leaps in front of Maxie, when the bullet goes off and he gets shot. Maxie yells Spinelli.

Spinelli (and Maxie) were both trending topics. Guza getting fired & Garin Wolf getting hired has trended in the past. We have been told in the past (I believe by Frons) that Spinelli would never be a main course, that he was a side dish. Too bad side dishes are the best part of the meal, and once again we proved him wrong. We also proved Oprah wrong who said no one is home during the day watching soaps anymore.

6/16/11 Spinelli recap

Jason wants to know if Spinelli has found Anthony's location yet. He says he'll know it. Spinelli gave Krissy & Mikey a autographed copy of his novel for graduation. He wanted to know if they liked it. Jason says he is sure they did. Spinelli wants to discuss the sequel. Jason doesn't want to be in it at all. Sam comes down. She has a stakeout with Spinelli. Jason is worried.

Jason reminds Sam that Dr. Lee (though we never see her anymore) says nothing strenuous for 3 weeks. Sam says she isn't. Spinelli apologizes for his insensitivity and says its far too soon for the mother that would be to engage in this kind of investigation. Sam thinks its sweet. Sam doesnt think there will be danger. Spinelli says she must remain her fittest self so she may be with child. Sam says they dont need to talk about that. Spinelli wants her to rest. Sam says she is doing this. Spinelli wants Jason to go instead. Jason agrees. Both of them are shocked. He says he will if its that important. Spinelli is all excited that they will be working together.

Spinelli is very excited. He brings up Jerry Jax and the hostage crises. Spinelli wants to do more then whats expected of him. She wants them to work together but thinks their reunion should be on something better then this. She says she needs to take pictures in a waiters uniform. It needs to be her. Spinelli agrees. They leave, even though Jason is worried.

If you took GH off your Tivo/Dvr, reset it starting tomorrow. Don't just watch clips vie online. The past several weeks little by little we have been hearing tidbits of what is to come (and the more I hear...the more I can't wait). Spinelli recap 6-8-11

Spinelli was working in Sonny's office when Jason walked in. Spinelli makes note that he was out all night. He says he's been busy, Spinelli says him too. Spinelli wants to give him caffienated green tea (Jason wants to know how he drinks that stuff). Spinelli starts to talk about the tea when Jason asks what is on his computer screen. Its video streaming of Mr. Sir's business rivals. He says its simple but brillant. He says that the Zaccarrah's brillantly framed him for burning down the warehouse. Jason says he wasn't framed.

Spinelli thinks this seems uncharateristically of him. Jason tells him its the only language Anthony understands. Spinelli talks about Anthony and then wants to know why he would antagonize him. Jason says he has an agenda, a temper and he hopes this burning of the warehouse pisses him off, he strikes back...and then Johnny will realize war is too high and will shut his father down.

Jason tries the tea, he isn't impressed. Jason wants that same video feed at every one of their properties...which was the plan. Spinelli wants to know if he is ever worried he will freeze in a moment. Jason never thought of it. Spinelli wishes he could, instead of falling to pieces. He tells the choking tale of Maxie at Jakes. Jason tells him to forget Dr. Hunter, he has other strengths. Spinelli doesn't think computer skills are all that manly (oh geez not this again), Jason tells him he is one of the most brillant people he has ever met. A beep goes off on his computer and he says he has to go.

Spinelli walks into Crimson. Maxie is on the phone and Spinelli wheels her out of the way and says he watches things from afar and she has a computer virus. She says it sounds terrible. He says have no fear the Jackal can defend you from the forces of darkness. She is grateful. She is happy to see that he is back to his old self. She said when she saw him at Jakes the other night he seemed down and droupy. She says she thought something was wrong. He was surprised that she thought of him. She said of course just like he still looks out for her from afar. He says so we are still connected. She says of course. (Lets hope this doesn't turn into Spinelli pining over Maxie or her always asking for help with work, cuz that will get real old real quick)

Maxie comes in asking if he fixed the virus. He has. She gives him bbq chips and orange pop. He is thankful for the gesture. Maxie says its kind of like old times, but not really. She pulls up a chair and asks how he has been. Maxie asks about investigations. Spinelli says they have put on hold as his assistance is needed elsewhere. Maxie says Jason? Break into another fantasy. Spinelli says he torched the warehouse down, something with guns ablazin, and they had to stop Big Daddy Zarcarrah. (this fantasy was Spinelli/Jason)...The phone rings and back to reality as Maxie answers it.

6-7-11 Spinelli recap

Spinelli is sitting at Jakes on the phone. Maxie sees him and says she didn't know he was gonna be there (er um Maxie he hasn't reported to you his whereabouts in 11 months). She even apologizes for not seeing that he was on the phone. He asks her if he has heard from the Original Blonde one and mentions all the messages he has received from her (to locate Luke), and her taking over Haunted Star. Maxie fills him in. He wanted to know if he should assist her. Maxie doesn't think so. Maxie says its like his book, where every case ends up ok in the end. Maxie went on about the book. Praising him. He calls her Maximista. She points out its been a while and she thought he never would again. Matt, Robin, Patrick see them and comes over. They discuss why they are late. Maxie gets up and leaves poor Spinelli at the table alone.

Spinelli watches/listens as the 4 of them enjoy themselves. He gets up and starts to walk away. Robin calls him over to enjoy fries with them. Robin admits she hasn't read his book yet, but hears its great. Maxie says its amazing. She says it made 3 of the summers best reads list. Robin gets him a chair. Robin says she always wanted to write a book, and wants to know how it feels. Maxie says she would have invited him over to join them, but she assumed he was working. Maxie comes back complaing about Lulu. Maxie starts to choke. Spinelli askes if she is ok.
