I know we keep saying this but its the quickist way to get your views expressed. Sending emails may seem as effective but its my understand they really don't really view them. Calling the comment line is a great tool at showing support. If they get a bunch of calls one day about a certain story that was on the air that day its a great tool for them to gauge public support. So if you call mention the current storyline you are calling about. During the campaign I am calling every day Spin is on. Others are calling every day. Perhaps you just call the day you are moved to do so.

The"Bradford Anderson Fan Blog" has not become the Spinelli and Maxie fan site, although they have the buzzzzzzzzzz right now and many of the posts are about them.

I know some of you think she's too mean for him, but even so, it could be a great character study for both. Also, who knows? Maxie might surprise us.. He is very much like her sister, with his quirky sweetness and unconditional love.

I'm going to piggy-back on Penny's analysis of the Spin/Maxie scenes from today. For starters, they were great! Definitely a good foundation for things to come. Depending on the writing, I can see this becoming a very deep character developing storyline for both characters, and that's the best kind! As they grow together to clear Cooper's name, so much wonderful stuff could happen. This is like the good old days of character interactions -- no forcing a romantic connection, just an honest reason for two people to depend upon each other and maybe discover the possiblity of more.
I think Maxie holds love at a distance just like Lulu did, at least until every guy in a 50 mile radius started throwing themselves at her feet... Maxie has certainly had a lot of experience with men, but I'd venture to say she's never had anyone, besides maybe Mac and Georgie, love her and worship her unconditionally. I think whatever woman is lucky enough to be Spinelli's girlfriend will find herself on the most realistic pedestal known to man (meaning that she's worshipped in the best way possible) with all the love a support a girl could wish for. The men Maxie has been with have almost excentuated her insecurities and made her feel like she had to go out of her way to keep him around. Can you imagine what she'd do if she was the one being adored? How would she react? Would she self-destruct and push it away? Maybe Spinelli will be that guy who finally convinces Maxie she is safe and sound, there's nothing to be scared of and she deserves happiness?
Forget the guns and speedboats and daring rescues....I want to see Spinelli do the rescuing with his heart.
How great was today? I want to focus on Maxie for a bit. Maxie who has always been the troubled one, the sick one and the 'bad' one is finding out who she really is.
She IS Frisco and Felicia's daughter.
You could just see it in those great scenes with Spinelli today. She is taking the pain of losing Georgie and Cooper into I what I believe the final stage of her very long journey to find herself.
Spinelli was so sweet to Maxie. Worried about her. It was just pure gold. They seemed to have this underlying understanding of each other. A intimacy. The bond of Georgie is bringing them together as partners, friends and perhaps something more.
Bradford and Kristen work so well off each other. I recall my first Maxie and Spinelli post and it brings me such delight to read it.

6. Post on internet bulletin boards. If you are already a regular poster a new topical Spinelli thread a day. Make the posts positive. Respond to negative posts with a positive response. Use Spinelli as your 'avatar' Use Spinelli graphics (including campaign graphics) as your signature.
7. Buy the Love Affair CD. Better yet if its an option buy the single digital track of Bradford's song. (will know tomorrow if this is an option) There is no better way to show our support by using our wallets.
9. Vote for Spinelli in polls. Any positive feedback is important. Seek poll out and respond to polls. Click the GH the Soap graphic on the right side bar different times per day. Its counted as a vote for Spinelli, Bradford and this site. Do the same for other Bradford/Spinelli themed sites.
10. Make a goal related to the campaign and stick to it. Its only a short period of time to keep up. Post your personal goals as a response to this post to help others make their own goals.
11. Make Spinelli Videos. Post them on Youtube and other video sharing websites so that the whole world can see it.
12. write reviews for Bradford related products. I have already wrote a Bradford related review for the NS dvd and I plan to write one for the Love Affair CD. You can write reviews on Amazon and other internet stores.
Now is not the time to allow ourselves to get complacent. Contract players are being shed like dog hair. We need to show support of Spinelli and Bradford. Not only to keep him on the show but to get that storyline we all have been dreaming of. We keep getting the unfulfilled promise of a storyline. Little hints that if we keep watching we will get to see 'more' Spinelli. They need to know that he is popluar enough to risk a storyline on him. They need to hear our voice.
Lets show them what Bradford fans are made of.

I asked Ashley if I could use the same name for the site. This is my first layout i ever got done that looked desent. Hope you like.

I haven't heard a full cut of my song.. but someone told me it sounded like liquid sex. Hmmm. I guess that means it sounds ok. I can't imagine my voice has the capacity to sound like liquid sex.. But check it out and tell me what you think!
I had high hopes for Spinelli's involvement in Lulu's kidnapping, but sadly it has certainly become more about the Johnny/Lulu/Logan triangle. Unfortunately, Spinelli got zero credit for doing basically all the work to find her! He was the one who got the call from Lulu, he figured out where she was, he was able to get into the monestary, he found Lulu and Johnny when they were trapped, he kept himself from being taken and then managed to figure out where they took Lulu and Logan, and THEN he's the one who got Jason, who kept Johnny from blowing Lulu up! But no credit. No aftermath. Just four straight days of NOTHING.
So what does this mean for Spinelli/Bradford? It seems as though he has plenty of fans, if Super Soap Weekend and Fan Club Weekend are any indication, his co-workers have nothing but glowing things to say about him, and the management of the show has also professed great liking for Bradford and Spinelli. Then why does he seem to get the short end of the stick in storylines? He's never been seriously considered for a romantic storyline (let's face it, they KNEW they were going to kill Georgie...), plays second (or third...) fiddle in rescue attempts, and then goes days without any scenes. Something doesn't add up...
It seems to me that the story of Spinelli has been "missed opportunity" since day one. There have been innumerable stories and scenes that could have opened the door for some backstory or characterization, but nothing leaves the ground. Why is this? Why, if Bradford is so well looked upon and Spinelli is so wildly popular, do they continue to leave him in the shadows, restricted to "supporting actor" status, practically a recurring role at times?
My question to you is: should we be worried? What can we really do to make a change here? I do not think it's as though they just don't value him, so what can we do as fans? Anything...?

When “General Hospital’s” Bradford Anderson approached jazz standard “My Funny Valentine,” he knew he had his work cut out for him.
“The thing is, it is one of the most depressing songs in the world,” he said in a recent telephone interview from the soap’s Los Angeles studio. “This person is miserable because they’re pining for the person they’re singing to.”
Not only that, but the actor follows a long line of more than 600 singers to perform “My Funny Valentine” since Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart penned it in 1937.
“Everyone’s sung it,” said Anderson, who plays Damian Spinelli on “General Hospital.”
Everyone from Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand to Van Morrison and Carly Simon.
But Anderson found conquering the song, itself, to be the most formidable task.
“Vocally, it’s pretty challenging,” he said.
But when the New York University Tisch School of the Arts graduate recorded the tune, he had a little inspiration from someone special, who sat in on the session.
“I sang it to my girlfriend,” Anderson said

Bradford is almost like Rainman except he's fully functional. He's that much of a genius. It's very hard to describe when you watch him work, to understand what he has to memorize, how he's got to make this come out of his mouth and the fact that he does it, is just fascinating to watch.
He as an actor can't even memorize the names, because they change them so much. He talks so fast! When Spinelli is talking, it's not Diane looking at him, but it's Carolyn saying WOW, and it works so well for Diane

Spinelli overheard the monk and Jerry/Moreau's henchmen discussing Lulu and was able to discover where her room was. He pretended to be bringing Lulu some food and was able to gain entrance to her room.
Once inside, Spinelli pulled back the covers of the bed to reveal the old tried-and-true "pillows under the sheets look like a sleeping person" routine. Real original, Lulu! lol... Spinelli then noticed the hole in the bricks where Lulu made her escape.
The henchman started to get curious so he came into the room. Spinelli attempted to break a board over his head, but failed miserably at knocking him out. Instead, he reached for a flashlight and succeeded at incapacitating his enemy. He took the flashlight and made for the hole in the wall, but made sure to grab some provisions for his journey...gotta love him!

So, once again, our boy is the comic relief. Lulu made her way through the hidden passage way and eventually came across Johnny, but both ended up hurt. That was the "real drama" for the day and Spin was just there to make us laugh. *Sigh* Don't get me wrong, I love Bradford's grasp of the hilarity of Spin, even in this tense situation, but I wish we could see a little more drama in Spinelli. Obviously he's a very deep individual with a story worth telling, I just wish they'd give it a go instead of reverting back to laughs.

We pimp out Music vids, here, so why not Fan fic? If you can't see this pairing in your head, well then to give you an idea, you can check out Lindsay's Spinelli/Maxie fan fic. She's really quite the writer and yes, it's a little bit racey (It's Maxie) but really poignant and funny. She really hits her stride in chapter two with the hilarious Spin/Jason, and Maxie/Sam scenes.
OMG I got on. I am at the very end. I totally sounded like a dork. My nasal voice was at it worse with the cold I currently have too.. (oh and i was really nervous) You can find the start of Bradford's interview at 59 minutes in.
Spinelli, Johnny, and Logan continued to try and put their differences aside to search for Lulu. Logan had nothing but rude things to say to Spinelli, and even Johnny was growing impatient with Spin's confusing language. Personally, I love it. I could sit and listen to him all day and never get bored!
As Spinelli continued to uncover more information about the painting Lulu described, Johnny and Logan launched into an argument about who's most at fault for Lulu's kidnapping. Spinelli broke it up, saying they should table the debate on who is most "unworthy or warped" until they find Lulu. The guys realized he was right and went back to the computer, as Spinelli had discovered something. Turns out there is a Saint Fiacrius in the Catholic religion who is often depicted as what Lulu described in the painting she saw.
With the information on "Who" the guys just needed to figure out "Where." Johnny stepped out to take a phone call and Logan took it upon himself to eavesdrop. Upon further research, Spinelli discovered that there was a monestary built in the 1700's in honor of the Saint Fiacrius. He tried to give Johnny and Logan the details about the history of Saint Fiacrius, but they just wanted to know where to find Lulu. Turns out, that monestary...it was built just outside of Port Charles.
The boys headed to the monestary and had a small scuffle over who would go inside, each guy feeling that it was best for Lulu if he went in. Spinelli claimed that he would be the best man for the job to wear a monk's robes and blend in with the other people while searching for Lulu. Suddenly they heard a the sound of the bell tolling and Spinelli began reciting Latin phrases. Johnny and Logan were shocked and Spinelli admitted he had taken 4 years of Latin. This sealed the deal and it was Spinelli to go inside, dressed as a monk, and find Lulu.
Inside the monestary, Spin tried to blend in with a line of brothers, but he saw the painting Lulu mentioned and dropped his rosary in surprise, drawing the attention of one of the men. He didn't seem too concerned and left Spin alone to set out on his search for Lulu.

Seriously people, how cool is this guy? His smarts and sincerity know no bounds; anyone would be extremely lucky to have this guy on their side. Don't get me wrong, I like Johnny, but how funny was it to watch the two "tough guys" snarking at each other and being impatient with Spinelli, and HE'S the one who's figuring ALL of this out!? He got the call from Lulu, he figured out what painting she was describing, he figured out where the monestary is, and his Latin knowledge made him the best person to blend in amongst the other monks. So, how cool is Spinelli? Really REALLY cool ;)

Spinelli is so much better then these losers. I can't believe how much of a bully Logan was being. Seriously Johnny defended our Spin. He will gets points for that but still.
So hopefully they will find Lulu soon and at least Lulu showed that when she is in trouble she can turn to spin because these other two guys are idiots. Logan really tried to criticize Spinelli for figuring out Lulu was at a monastery.

Lindze was told that they wrote her off because they wanted to go in another direction. SOD claimed G-Spin had good buzz. She could have been written into the sunset with Dillon or sent to school, so my speculation, (based on that) is they wanted to make Maxie and Spin into tragic figures..
